Have been twice, first for a romantic dinner with hubby, second time with friends for the food and the pianos -- risking the return visit because the salad / food, the server quality, and a unique entertainment experience. The servers really do try yet, for some reason, there seems to be confusion about what The Brickyard wants to be to... More

we went there recently for a birthday gathering, a party of 20; we arrived at 7:00p.m. and finally left around 10:00 p.m. I ordered salmon and was asked how I liked it prepared, they recommended medium........I never had that asked before....... never explained that medium was raw inside. which it was.....I sent it back getting a remark from our annoyed... We went for the Downtown week of dinners in early November and had a prix fixe meal that was wonderful. The salads are done on a cart, sort of like caesar, and were very good. Excellent crab cake with the right ratio of sauce to greens to fried crust. Huge New York Strip steak that was a little rare and... More

How have I not been to this place before! Brickyard is a somewhat hidden gem of a steakhouse in downtown Boise. It is a classy, fabulous restaurant--something I would expect to find in Boston or New York. While their menu selections can be pricey, it is no more pricey than any of the other steakhouses in Boise. On our recent... More

While the venue was warm, the staff were friendly & responsive, this upscale/pricey restaurant in Boise missed the mark on entrees not once but twice in one night. Given a variety of other options nearby, I/we don't need to wait for the 3rd strike.

I always meant to write this one but never got around to it. We stopped fairly close to closing on a weeknight after traveling into town nine hours. I've worked in the restaurant industry so i know how that feels. The staff did not miss a beat, and the food was great. We will definitely stop the next time that... More

As always, this is the best steak ever in Boise, but the service is too too slow. I always have a trouble with the service on weekends. But, still the best steak.

Not impressed with being asked to wait in bar, which was crowed, while our table was getting ready. There were only 4 tables being used, and lots empty ...? After seated, and another couple joined us, had to seek out a body to get the other couple a drink, after sitting there 10 minutes. Salad at table was great; all... More

The reviews were far over rated and Brickyard cannot even be compared with Chandlers, Ruth Chris, Babarcoa Grill or even Texas Roadhouse. For a person who eats kobe most of the time, the kobe sirloin I had at Brickyard doesn't even feels like a kobe. The sirlon was over season with salt (which is not necessary if it's a kobe),... Visited Boise in september last year, and we went to this amazing restaurant. Good food, salad to be prepared by the table, piano music. Good steaks!
