Valentines Day and Happy Hours

I first visited the Brickyard for Valentines day this year. I was very impressed with the service and food. Do not eat here if you are looking for a quick bite, the service is thorough but not speedy. Since then I have been 4 times for happy hour and for lunch meetings, the service has been great... read more

My fella and I consider ourselves Steak connoisseurs. We have tried just about every steakhouse you can think of from Outback to Ruth's Chris, and everything in between. We've eaten at The Brickyard many times and just keep coming back for the excellent steaks. I LOVE the Idaho Wagyu Kobe Sirloin and my man gets the Cowboy Cut Ribeye which... More

Boise restaurants will often offer Copper River Salmon this time of year. The Brickyard surely would prepare it well, I thought. For a price premium above their regular salmon dish, I hoped for more. The fish was overly seasoned with salt, not cooked well, and the sides of romaine lettuce and asparagus were charred (not in a good way). Despite... More

The steaks at The Brickyard are very delicious, and the sides are always appealing. The wine list is very lackluster, and the cocktail list is much the same. That being said the real issue I have with The Brickyard is also something others love -- the salad cart. They wheel out a 1940s era salad cart and make salads in... More

We had a fabulous anniversary dinner at Brickyard. Love the table side salad! We had filet and halibut-both cooked to perfection. Our waiter was attentive without being obtrusive. Perfect balance.

We had a large party (with reservations) and they seated us promptly. They make the salad to order at your table. A good salad and I liked being able to have what I wanted on it. The salad make was fun and added to the experience. I had halibut with a crab and scallop finish. It was wonderful. I've had... More

The wife and I went to The Brickyard for dinner. I had driven by years ago, which caught my eye initially, and finally decided to dine for my birthday. This place is awesome. The ambiance, the soft piano music, the quaint size of the place, the food, all made the experience exceptional. We will be back for special occasions!

In my opinion The Brickyard has a TRUE Happy Hour. Half price for all drinks, wine or beer on the menu. Also, very good Happy Hour food. The bar is not big so not good for large groups. But, if you want to visit, the music isn't so loud you can have a conversation without shouting. So, I guess I'm... More

This was our first time and have to admit, I was a bit wary on what to expect based on reviews. Well, I have to say the Brickyard was awesome. The steaks were out of this world and the staff was attentive and professional. The live piano music was the finishing touch that really made it all worth while. Good... More

The Brickyard provides fine dining with exceptional food. Three of us shared two dinners and there was more than enough food. Salads are made fresh at your table by the salad chef and their Green Goddess dressing is the best I have ever had. Our entrees were steak and prawns with asparagrass and garlic mashed potatoes followed by a fruit... More
