All the other comments are right on, food is interesting and service is top notch. The secret of the Fork is to go there for lunch and sit at the bar instead of a booth or table. Why? The bar staff is awesome, friendly and will spend time talking about Boise and what to take in and the local history,... More

Visiting, I wanted to treat my Boise family on my last night here and asked them to suggest a favorite restaurant. They made reservations at Fork. Good thing: it was packed on a Thursday night. It is sophisticated and upscale casual. Lots of good things on the menu and I wanted something I couldn't get back home. The unanimous suggestion... More

Very nice restaurant right downtown. Food is always interesting and there is something on the menu for everyone. Nice line-up of specialty cocktails and wine. Servers are knowledgeable and service is usually excellent. Parking is limited so just use one of the downtown garages.

We were literally walking down the street looking for a meal and were attracted to the old bank building this DO NOT MISS restaurant resides in. One glance at the posted menu and we were all in! Great, helpful service and spectacular food. We started with the deviled eggs which were amazing in themselves. Each rode in on a piece... More

We took my mom for a nice breakfast lunch and had a great time. I've always loved this location, since way back when it was Doughty's, and I love what Fork has done with it. Service was warm and friendly. Food was excellent. It was a cold day and most of us had the grown-up grilled cheese with tomato bisque.... More

I came in for dinner and drinks before a three hour meeting - drawn by focus on local and responsible and was not disappointed. Love the ambience and not too loud despite the high ceilings. Very juicy grass fed burger with fresh salad. Both hot buttered rum and Thyme for Bourbon were very tasty. Sat at the bar and found... More

We visited this restaurant during a very busy weekend without reservations and based on their menu. Our wait was supposed to be 40 minutes for a table and we wound up being seated within 15 minutes. The waiter was pleasant and the food was fabulous. It is in downtown Boise and parking was easy to obtain.

My favorite restaurant in Boise. By far, the most consistent delivery of great food, excellent service, and atmosphere in town. There is something for everyone! Also, it doesn't hurt that the owners are socially conscious and community minded. All around, great. Never disappoints.

I really like Fork. Their burgers are one of the best in town. I can't remember what it's called but the mushroom polenta appetizer is delicious. However, some of the food I've had lacks flavor. And their service is hit and miss. I think I've had one really great server, a couple so so ones, and a couple terrible ones.... More
