If you love the breakfast atmosphere of a tastefully funky place with delicious, large portion meals, Big City rocks! Indoor/outdoor seating, open street wall. Great hang out, positive vibes, excellent baked goods and decent prices.

Breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. We waited for a long time for our food but it didn't disappoint. Large portions - enough to split and great coffee. Loved the menu. The staff seemed a little unorganized but other than that and the wait, we would go back.

When a coffee/breakfast place is busy that's a sure sign they have good coffee and/or food - we hit the jackpot on both! Lucky us - as we happened on this place while in Boise for a conference - thanks to TripAdvisor :) I ordered the Low-Carb Egg Breakfast - sooooo good and SOOOOOO much - I am not sure... More

Full of positive energy, this place is full of locals and the buzz around the place is really good. I've been there when it's slow and when it's busy, and had great food and coffee during both--a good sign that the standards are high here.

Every time we go to Boise, we "must" stop at Big City to get a memorable scone, pastry, meal, or a bunch of day olds! The quaint set up (old signs, mason jar glasses, etc) makes this worthwhile even when the place is packed wall to wall!!!! if you go after 8am there is almost a guaranteed wait.

We arrived in Boise early for an appointment, as we strolled around we found this treasure. We only had time for coffee (strong and hot) and lived vicariously as others' food arrived around us. We definitely want to go back for breakfast before our next appointment. The atmosphere is great with interesting folk art pieces, customers and workers alike are... More

Big City Coffee is another wonderful coffee shop in Boise that offers great breakfast and lunch's. It's always busy. The coffee is good and so is the food. I was last there this past summer.

I ordered the spinach and feta quiche with fresh fruit! The quiche had incredible flavor and the crust was so flaky, yum! The fruit that came with it was fresh and delicious, even though it was the end of November. Definitely a must visit when in Boise!

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place and they were right in doing so. The atmosphere is hip and happening and so is the food. Friendly service, good menu variety and good prices. I was impressed to see they had steamed eggs as not many places in the US have figured out how versatile their espresso machine can be.

We stopped in originally just to get a cup of coffee and a muffin. We were so impressed we went back the next morning for breakfast. The first thing you'll notice is that the servings are huge! We both did our best and still took home enough for a substantial breakfast the next day. The steamed eggs were light and... More
