Fabulous eats generous portions, and 'bit o' honey" coffee is worth the stop. Bit City is a few blocks from the central downtown area, but an easy walk and worth the effort. Loved their large portions of breakfast meals, and the pastries were yummy. Count on a long walk afterwards to lose some of the pounds you added!

I liked all the options and gift items It was crowded and service slow but not to awful. The problem is that where you stand to wait is directly in the path of the waitstaff coming from the kitchen and those that are getting coffee from the carafes/ I felt sorry for the dishwasher as people kept walking up to... Be prepared to make some choices when you walk through the door. The display case is just full of delightful items. The hot breakfast items are great also. Their cleverly named custom blend of coffee makes a fun gift for the right person. This place does get crowded at times.

We stopped by for breakfast on a day of appointments and errands. Yummy breakfasts with tons of fresh fruit fueled us for the day! We tucked away a piece of the cake for a later treat- best ever! Can't wait for our next day of appointments!

One afternoon we discovered this eatery in the Linen District. The interior is interesting and there's seating outside along the sidewalk too. The diverse baked goods at the counter and drink listings along the back wall are only the beginning of the offerings. We ordered a Clubhouse sandwich that was so thick it barely fit in our mouths. It came... More

If you love the breakfast atmosphere of a tastefully funky place with delicious, large portion meals, Big City rocks! Indoor/outdoor seating, open street wall. Great hang out, positive vibes, excellent baked goods and decent prices.

Breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. We waited for a long time for our food but it didn't disappoint. Large portions - enough to split and great coffee. Loved the menu. The staff seemed a little unorganized but other than that and the wait, we would go back.

When a coffee/breakfast place is busy that's a sure sign they have good coffee and/or food - we hit the jackpot on both! Lucky us - as we happened on this place while in Boise for a conference - thanks to TripAdvisor :) I ordered the Low-Carb Egg Breakfast - sooooo good and SOOOOOO much - I am not sure... More

Full of positive energy, this place is full of locals and the buzz around the place is really good. I've been there when it's slow and when it's busy, and had great food and coffee during both--a good sign that the standards are high here.

Every time we go to Boise, we "must" stop at Big City to get a memorable scone, pastry, meal, or a bunch of day olds! The quaint set up (old signs, mason jar glasses, etc) makes this worthwhile even when the place is packed wall to wall!!!! if you go after 8am there is almost a guaranteed wait.
