My husband and I are on a cross country road trip and had the good fortune to be in Boise for dinner. After looking up reviews, we decided to come to Tango's. Their empanadas are incredible! I ordered the Puerco, he ordered the Rancho, and we each had a BBQ. The pork in the Puerco was tender and delicious and... More

The owners are amazing people and I'm so proud! I don't actually know them personally but I've been frequenting Tango's since they opened. This couple is a perfect example of the American dream! The empanadas are authentic and creative. My husband and I have tried every single menu item between the two of us and while we have our favorites,... More

The food was good especially moleh; contains chocolate. Very tasty and juicy. The guy is a great example of being positive whatever you have been through. His smile will make your day. The food is cheap, but the taste is great. Loved it and will be there again.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Boise! Authentic empanadas that are deep fried deliciousness - so don't expect health food. Owner is always super friendly and helpful. My favorites are the El Puerco and Hawaiian with jalapeños! A must try!

The food is quite good but almost all is fried. The owner is living his American dream and I have never seen him without a huge smile and a friendly greeting to all who walk through his door. His wife does the cooking and you rarely see her but the food is tasty and hot and his service is really... More

They have a wide variety of empanadas but I came for the classics- pollo, carne, jamón y queso. They were all very good. I would like to have seen empanadas al horno (baked) which I prefer. All they do are fried. They are still delicious though. My favorite are the chicken. They are very large. They were pretty moist and... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boise. The service is fantastic and the food is consistently delicious and a great price. A two empanada meal that comes with fries and a drink is only $5. Single empanada are only $2.50 each. What a deal, especially for authentic Argentine empanadas!

Sorry for the Spanglish, but you'll feel a little continental after visiting Tango's...as I do. GREAT meat and veggie and cheese empanadas. I have NEVER met the cook, I've seen her glance out and smile, but the owner/counter/ambassador of all things great is phenomenal. ALWAYS, ALWAYS feel incredibly welcome. He is such a pleasant man, I'd go there if he... More
