We saw Donnie Mac's on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network. I believe it's a converted garage in dowtown Boise, but the decor is unique and very fun. Sit in the car for your meal. You won't quite know what to expect at first glance! Cute idea with the decor and the food and service was excellent! Delicious burger and the sweet potato fries were top notch! Bring the kids to sit in the car. Would put this on yur list as a "must see". more

The food is surprisingly good for a theme restaurant. The bacon cheeseburger was excellent, the hot dogs are huge, and the macaroni and cheese with bacon is some of the best I've ever had. For a Fun trip destination place. Date place, the food is good comfortable, families and kids, well okay, there are other choices, More for the 'older' kids, The custard is awesome among other fare. more

The name alone caught my attention, not to mention the actual trailer attached to the side of the restaurant. The wait staff wear MuMu's, and the decor includes lawn chairs, pink flamingos, shower curtains and large sofas outside. The menu is okay and includes a lot of comfort food items like Mac and Cheese, Chili and Meatloaf. Not my favorite... more
