Took me 45 minuets to order because everything sounded so good! The place is just awesome- all the different shapes and colors! Had the tacos and guac! I cant wait to go back! Service was outstanding!

Love this place. Have been coming for years, before the original restaurant burned. Heard that news and was so upset, but the new place is now tried and true for the "see and be seen" crowd. We love to sit at the bar by the pizza oven where you can take in all the goings on in the kitchen and... More

The presentation of the meals is amazing. You feel like you are in another part of the world. The décor is outstanding and so unique. The food is great and the service was superb. It is one of the most unique dining experiences that I have had.....Martinis in ice glasses, guacamole made right at your tableside. Barbacoa is definitely a... More

I was in Boise on business and was told I had to try to this place. We could only make it for happy hour but I was not disappointed with the food. Staff was friendly but a bit pretentious, but friendly enough. The atmosphere here is pretty cool and of course if you can sit overlooking the water, definitely a... More

This is my favorite place in Boise. They have a great small plates and full entree menu, but no matter what you have to start with the guacamole. They roll up a cart and make it right at your table You can request ingredients and the degree of spiciness (we like it hot!!). There were five of us this last... More

I have only been to Barbacoa during happy hour, but they had a delicious menu of appetizers and flatbread pizzas. The decor is wild - 12 foot long bronze medusa statues in the center of the bar area and a wine tunnel that leads to the restaurant. There is outdoor dining on the rooftop as well. Make sure you come... More

I've eaten at the Barbacoa before and wanted to take friends. It was still as awesome as before! For a new experience in dining and to be blown away with the presentation of food, try Barbacoa. The service is very good and the atmosphere is very cool! Spend the money for a great meal. If you can get a seat... More

Visited this eclectic restaurant in March and had one of the most creative fun and delicious meals ever. The special du jour was Halibut on a cedar plank. The halibut was succulent and cooked to perfection. I am only disappointed because I know I will never taste halibut this good again! Barbacoa serves a tableside guacamole, flavored to guest preference.... More

Nice setting on a pond with mountains in the background. When we arrived, the mountains were glowing. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, and it was hard to even hear the waitress. Guacamole prepared on a cart by the table was very good and plentiful. The food was well prepared and very well presented. Although steaks are emphasized, the scallops... More
