Great

The service was great and the food was even better. We saw this place on our way to Augusta and made sure to look for it on the way back. We enjoyed the young man in the bakery that gave us a story of his family.

We stopped by for lunch on the way home from Florida. We ate here on a Friday around noon. We got a delicious meat and three plate with sweet tea and purchased a dozen dinner rolls at the bakery on the way out. Our cost was $37 excluding tip!The food is really good. The service was good and the place... More

If you want genuine home cooked meals the Dutch House is the place to go. Much of the food is raised by the Mennonite Community that runs the restaurant. Excellent food served by very nice people. Wish it weren't 30 miles from Augusta. When we have the time it's worth the ride out there to eat. Their desserts are especially... More

We stopped by the Dutch House Restaurant and Bakery on our way to the beach. The bakery is amazing. The pineapple cream cheese roll is delicious, as was the cream cheese roll. My daughter had the ham and cheese roll and she liked it. We did not have lunch but looked at the service line. It looked delicious. We will... More

I work close to this restaurant and have come here from time to time for lunch. It has been a little expensive but they have totally reworked their prices. You can buy the "Dutch Express" for around $7.50. That includes the meat of the day, 2 sides, a roll and a drink. The cook there really knows what he is... More

A nice family owned restaurant featuring southern/ home cooked style food. Fresh cooked catfish, hush puppies, sweet potato soufflé and green beans was my selection for about $9.95 A nice spacious family style eatery (presently being renovated) They also feature delicious baked goods including Dutch style pies and pastries (baked fresh in their adjoining bakery) that make your mouth water.... Not over priced, for the few that feel that way stay with the national pig trough all you can eat chains(less snooty people while we eat;) It is not the least expensive place to eat, but the food is quality and the people who serve you are extremely kind and helpful. We meet there as a family several times a... More

When we are craving fried chicken my husband and I drive to Wrens to the Dutch House. The food is delicious and we don't feel the prices are too high as some reviewers stated. I usually get the small plate which is plenty for me and my husband gets the regular plate. The bakery has delicious pies, cakes and cinnamon... More
