I went to Ipps on a Monday evening, during their Monday pizza special. I was hoping to sit outside on the patio, but is was closed due to a lack of wait staff. I asked to sit at the bar, but it too was closed due to lack of wait staff. I eventually settled on a seat inside after a... More

Boy! They can make a pizza! Great crust and toppings. Great location, fun atmosphere and good service. I will be back.

Nice homey atmosphere with an extensive menu of various Italian dishes. Ask for the spaghetti with meat sauce and meat ball. Great tasting and you'll end up with a take home box. Outside seating is also available. Italian feeling is somewhat diminished with t-v's situated on the walls around the dining room.

This restaurant is in our home town. We've visited it twice in the past month. Friends recommended it, comparing it to Ippolito in Marietta. We thought the food at Ipp's was good: fettuccine carbonara was good but lacking flavor - salt and pepper improved this; grilled chicken and spinach cannelloni was good but not especially memorable. The salads were fresh... More

Lets face it, once you drop below the Mason-Dixon line, Italian food falls off a cliff. Gone is the authenticity of northern, or the more commonly imitated southern, Italian food you'll find in the ethnic enclaves of the northeast. With that being said, IPPs is very good. Their pizzas are delicious and I would really recommend the Hot Italian sandwich,... More

We have gotten take-out from Ipps on Main on a couple of occasions. While their rolls are THE BEST of any italian restaurant around here, their food is NOT the same as a regular Ippolitos. I don't know why I expected it to be the same, maybe it was my fault, but I have a "usual order" that I get... More

I absolutely love the atmosphere...minus the TV's throughout the restaurant. This is an old house with lots of charm, turned into a restaurant. If you must have a TV in the bar area, fine...but you can't hear the TV's in the main dining area anyway, and they are annoying and distracting. We were there on a Saturday night without reservations.... More

I rarely write bad reviews on her but as much as I WANTED this to be a good restaurant, it simply isn't. I thought maybe "Ipps" would be a better Ippolito's but it isn't even on par. Think what you want, call me picky but I'm an Italian from NJ so this is the real skinny -accept it. 1) wine... More

When I was there I thought it was rather unclean. As you can see from below they got a "C" on their Public Health Inspection. Both my friend and I has stomach aches after eating there. Until they "clean up" I won't eat there. ****** WELCOME TO THE CHEROKEE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH INSPECTION PAGE Brought to you by the Georgia... More
