Good food and atmosphere

Been here twice and food, atmosphere and staff are great. Very good burgers! Also they have a great selection of local breweries.

Met a friend there for drinks at the bar. Had two Bailey's and coffees each. My husband later joined us and had two beers. When the bartender brought the bill she had charged us for the pot of coffee. It was over $5.00. When I asked her about it saying I have never been charged for the coffee when used... More

We sat outside for lunch and the patio was great. Overall the food is average at best. Had to send one lunch back as it was not cooked correctly. Service could be better.

We keep coming back because their special braised pork with collard greens and cheesy grits is yummy as is the Creme Brûlée. BUT, the service at lunch time continues to be hit-or-miss, MOSTLY MISS. Today's waiter couldn't get the drink order correct, couldn't keep our drinks refilled, couldn't or wouldn't bring food in the order requested (asked for dessert first... More

I had my Mom's surprise party there last month and was blown away by the staff there! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Turned out to be an amazing party and I know Freight has some new regulars :) The food is absolutely wonderful, great menu an choices!! They even made an 'off the menu' dish as a special request... Average at best. Nothing exciting about the menu or the service. The food was just ok. Would not go back.

We had a large group and were seated quickly. Sampled a large variety of menu items: Chicken and Waffles: excellent--not the best fried chicken I have ever had; but I am deeply southern Cheese Grits: a must try. Very good Fried green tomatoes: good. Not a huge fan of the dipping sauce Pimento cheese dip, sweet potato fries, fried mac-n-cheese--... More

Stopped by on our way to the Airport. Found it on trip advisor-hubby got shrimp and grits and two craft brews from magnolia brew in Mississippi. I had pork bar b que. The food was great. I was surprised by the wait because their were only 5 tables. Our waitress Molly was very nice.

I have ate here several times. Always good. It's an upscale bar/ restaurant in an old train/freight depot. Yes the trains still roll by. If you sit out on the patio you can almost touch them. Located in old town Woodstock. Plenty to do after you eat.

Had the chicken and waffles here. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. Expected a little more on the plate or something exceptional for the price. Should have stuck to a burger and a beer. Will try again.
