What a pleasant surprise ... Not only a good lunch ( BLT) but friendly prompt service... I actually went to another restaurant .. 2:00 PM and no on was anywhere to be found to seat and greet me. I'll be back ... I had my eye on the pineapple infused taqueria they were making at the bar. Well Done !

We were greeted at sat promptly on a Saturday night (6:30). Our waiter greeted us and was well versed on the menu as well as the various local drinks. I ordered the Pork Belly and Watermelon Salad. Oh my goodness! It was absolutely delicious! I've never had pork belly before. My wife and daughter had their burger special and they... More

The sweet potato fries and Spinach dip are the BEST EVER! The Bloody Mary bar on Sunday morning is fabulous. However, the menu lacks in my opinion. For instance, they do not have a kids menu and my teenagers have a hard time finding something as well. I have tried many things myself and I have not found one thing... More

We sat outside. The place is an old train station, which just makes it fun. They had lots of lights, and even porch style furniture which made it feel homey. We had the artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was creamy and delicious. The best I've ever had. I got the sliders for dinner. It was awesome because each... More

The location couldn't be better as it's in downtown Woodstock right off the railroad tracks. It used to be the old train station and it still gives off that vibe. I had the caprese salad--not bad but not exceptional either. The mozzarella was what I buy at Kroger and the tomatoes were cut too thickly. Then they piled it on... More

Situated in the old train station in historic Woodstock, this pleasant restaurant under relatively new ownership offered our friends and us a nice lunch experience. I ordered the steak sandwich which came with surprisingly large chunks of steak cooked perfectly to my order. It was delicious. The service was very attentive without being overly so. I would go there again... More

Went for Father's Day brunch. We were there at 10:30 when they opened. Waited 1.5 hrs for our food and it was horrible. Steak and eggs says 3 eggs, it came with 2. I advised the waitress she said ok I will tell them. Southern drawl out of the 3 we ordered had 6 small pieces of pork belly. Our... More

Sat out on the porch and enjoyed the fans. I had the Freight BLT, fried green tomatoes with bacon on wheat bread. If I did it again I'd have them toast the bread as the bread was nothing to brag about - not hearty enough for either the tomatoes or the bacon alone and definitely not together.

This was my third time at the Freight Kitchen and Tap and each time the food is consistantly delicious! Our waitress was fast and friendly and knowledgable about the food and drinks. My chicken and waffles were to die for! The collard greens were the best I have had n years! If there was one thing I could Change it... More
