If I give a poor or negative review then I must also report a positive if things change and they did! We had occasion to re-visit Donovan's Pub on 1/16/15 (Friday evening). It was very busy so there would have been many opportunities for something to go awry, it didn't. The owner had commented on my last review that food... More

Had dinner there tonite and was VERY impressed with the service from both our waitress and Manager! The food took a little extra time (which we were not at all upset about) because they were very busy...the Manager took note of it... on his own and came over to apologize and also made the situation "right"! The food was VERY... More

The service is pleasant, the atmosphere is warm, and the food is good. They have burgers. a kids menu, and more traditional Irish things (bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie), They make a "shoe", which is stacked fries, your choice of meat, toast, and cheese. My husband loves it.

today's lunch was my first time there and will definitely not be the last. prices are very reasonable and service and food were excellent... try the mixed greens salad with goat cheese. lots of flexibility in dishes... I had the Reuben sans sauerkraut. a wonderful extra is conversation could be had without competition from too loud music. definitely worth your... More

I wish I could wholeheartedly give this restaurant good reviews on food but I can't. We have been there several times and the food is average, I have ordered the fish on two occasions and each time it was terrible. Tasted like it had been frozen too long and then overcooked, it was mush on the inside. In all fairness,... More

Jill, I'm very sorry for our lackluster performance during your visits. We are always trying to improve both our food and service. We are fortunate to be one of the few restaurants to make it to a five year mark. Thank you for your kind words and for supporting us as a family and community business. Over the past five... More

After living in Towne Lake for 7+ years, we finally remembered to try this place out. Our server was very friendly, to the point of repeating her name 4 times before taking the drink order. She was a little slow though, especially with drink refills. The food was good. My wife has a Philly cheesesteak and said you could taste... More

The service is incredible and the food is even better! I can't imagine someone not giving this five stars. If you do happen to have any issues ask for a manager and they will make it right. The menu was great before but they have changed it and it's even better. Try the chicken..in any form you won't be disappointed.... More

My friends and I have been coming here regularly since they opened. We had some issues when we first starting coming and when we brought it up to the manager it was completely taken care of. The patio nightlife is awesome for Woodstock and it a must visit next time you're in town. They're always accommodating of our large groups... More

Lots of little things kept the rating from being higher. The smell when we first walked in the door smelled like dirty bathrooms. It was almost enough to leave, and if we'd had to wait for a table, we probably would have. But we were seated instantly, nowhere near the restrooms, so the smell wasn't noticeable at the table. We... More
