Went to Magnolia Thomas for the 1st time even though we've lived in Woodstock for 17 years. Thought using our Groupon along with the fixed price menu for Downtown Woodstock week would be a good way to give it a try. Arrived for our 8PM reservation and found the restaurant about half full for a Friday night. As soon as... More

Tried the brunch and it was as good as I've heard. Excellent food on the buffet and several items, including Eggs Benedict, that can be cooked to order (included in the price) are really good. Don't miss the cobbler or other desserts. It's hard to save room, but it's worth the effort. Great service, great food. Will definitely return.

Lovely southern food. Tranquil setting. Very nice servers. $$$ I have been twice and enjoyed both meals.

My husband and I celebrated my daughters birthday here on Saturday night, with our son-in-law, and our 2 grandchildren. I don't know the history of the house, but it must have been a beautiful one. Although not large inside, it had a cozy atmosphere. Also, the tables were nicely spaced, so you were not on top of each other. The... More

We love this restaurant. The food is fresh, the service is professional and the place is immaculate. We always feel like we had a special dinner out. You actually get a tablecloth, the tables are not jammed up against each other and it is overall, quiet. We are so weary of paying a fortune to eat at on a wooden... More

I came here for Thanksgiving. Enjoyed the traditional turkey while my dining companion had the duck. Everything was perfect. So good in fact that we decided to come back the next weekend. Salmon with a blackberry sauce. Excellent. The service was just as good. I have found a new favorite restaurant.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Woodstock. However, after our visit for Valentine's Day 2013, we will never be back. Our friends even invited us to eat there with them, and we turned them down because they will NEVER get our money again. The story: -Magnolia Thomas serves my husband's favorite wine, Plenitude by Wolf Mountain.... More

It has been a long time since I've been impressed with a restaurant meal. Not that I am overly picky, but it seems difficult to find a meal these days that gets it all just right. We had a party of seven for dinner. With reservations already made, we were seated immediately at a charming table at a bay window.... More

We ate here on a Groupon. After seeing their prices, the Groupon will be the only way this family if 4 can eat here. We were unaware if reservations. Apparently reservations are preferable. We will eat here again.

Went into an empty restaurant . Could not serve us because of a lack of servers and a mad rush of customers that would be coming in the next 15 minutes . The excuse, manager on vacation. Last chance.
