Great find. Zane gave great recommendations from drinks to dessert. Started with a Macon mule and driving miss daisy drinks. Then the mussels in an anisette cream sauce you drink up it was so good. Kale bacon and pear salad was perfect. I had the shrimp on perfect grits. My husband melt in your mouth short ribs. Banana cream brûlée... More

We were looking forward to our New Year's Eve dinner at Steel Magnolias, as we were passing through Valdosta. The reviews and the menu looked wonderful. The food and service were disappointing however, and the meal was quite expensive. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which were good but not outstanding. My entrée of seared scallops were slightly underdone... More

Had drinks on the rooftop, had a Driving Miss Daisy martini, so good I had 2! At a reviewers suggestion we had the tomato and goat cheese bruschetta. Awesome. I had the mussels with anisette cream, also awesome. Both unusual and very tasty. Went downstairs for the rest of our meal and sat at the "chef's bar" which was quite... More

We had a large party of 12. Everyone's food was good .... Not cheap, but good quality and very nice servers and staff.. Overall I'd say a good value.

It is a bit pricier than two dollar signs. However, the food was delicious. One of us had shrimp and grits with cheese it was phenomenal! The other had the petite which was not so petite. It was about 10 ounces. Slightly expensive but very delicious and the atmosphere is excellent.

You cannot do better than this place. The menu is great, the service is better and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is located in a restored store front in downtown Valdosta. Try the roof top bar. It is an excellent place to have a drink and enjoy the Valdosta sky line. I have been here a number of... More

I live in Charleston, South Carolina so I know good quality food and this place has it. I was in town visiting my son and decided to try this place. We orded the fried green tomatoes which were very tasty. I had the tuna and my son and his friend ordered the bacon wrapped pork chop. Everything was unbelievable! For... More

This was the highlight of an adventure to Valdosta. We ordered two appetizers; fried green tomatoes and pulled pork & pimento cheese wontons. The many flavors were amazing. The wontons stood out. Despite the many flavors they all worked well together. The chocolate peanut butter pie should come with a warning! It is so rich! Although we didn't have a... More

One of my favorite restaurants. The food is comforting, unexpected and delicious. I order something different every time I go and I have never been disappointed. The dining room is beautiful and comfortable and the rooftop bar is perfect for appetizers and cocktails. Signature cocktails are wonderful and service has always been excellent.
