To my surprise this place has closed down!!! It's a real shame. We really enjoyed this place and the location was great since it was just near the university.

Saw other bad reviews but we had a good meal at a reasonable price. Service was good when we first arrived (probably because there were only about 5 other customers there) but as it got busier we could see they needed more staff. Cannot complain at all about the food - had slices of avocado as toppings and everything tasted... More

The food was ok but service was bad. Waiter was nice. The only thing was it took forever to get our food I think it was like 45 minutes or more. One man from a family got up and had enough and said ill pay for what I got and walked out cause it took so long. I would not... More

Unfortunately, I was not able to try the food here so I can't say anything about it. I came with my friend who has epilepsy and a service dog. They made us wait 15 minutes to talk to a manager because the service dog was with us. After that, they still refused us service, which is illegal. The waitress was... More

We tried them many times when we first moved here in 2009. I think the last time we went was after the Patio renovation which was not better then what they had unfortunately. I actually liked the previous patio. Anyway, none of that matters when the service is so bad. They should also look into lowering the price of their... More

The chips, salsa, enchiladas... all "average." They also own the car wash near the premisis so you can take care of two things at once! The staff told me that the place has been open since 2002 and they have not changed menu prices since 2004; guess that says something but not sure what exactly! Longneck beers at $1.00 on... More

Have been coming here for years because the food and service was consistently good. But things change. Now Las Banderas is mediocre at best. Two brothers own this restaurant with nice ambiance. Unfortunately, they now own a Mexican food store next door, and seem to have let the business go... We see NEW STAFF every time (3) we have been... More
