The Smokin Pig purports to be "one of the 10 best in the country." It was worth the stop but in no way what it is billed as. It's a standard BBQ menu, with everything you would expect -- essentially choices of pork, beef or chicken served with two toppings, bread, and salad bar. I had the sliced pork, and... More

I've eaten a lot of BBQ smokin pig isn't cooking (smoking) it's meat fresh I've even here several times it's just ok. Most of the good is dry. The salad bar has crappy iceberg lettuce and the cobbler isn't to die over. It's just ok.

This is BBQ on steroids. I ordered the three items (out of four) dinner plate. Ribs, pulled pork, and a quarter of a chicken. They have about six sauces on the table including a vinegary Carolina BBQ sauce. The original is my favorite as I do not care much for the sweet and hot combinations. When one orders the plate,... This was by far some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time.We stopped by on the way home from visiting friends in Florida.Just a little way off the interstate but real easy to find. When we got there it must have been the after church crowd because the parking lot was packed it took a minute to find... Our service was great, even though I think we were there right before closing on a Sunday night. We all loved our food. Bathrooms were clean. Easily accessible to the interstate. Quantities were large. Prices were reasonable. Very good food for families

We had lunch at Smok'n Pig twice during road trips to Florida, and it is our favorite place to stop for BBQ so far. I ordered the combination brisket and pulled pork sandwich, and it was huge! The meats were very good, and I enjoy having a selection of BBQ sauces on the table to sample. I had at least... More

Nothing fancy just good home style BBQ and plenty of it. We always visit when we travel through the area.

I planned a stop here for lunch while we were driving through Valdosta on our way to Atlanta. We thought they had some outside seating but there are only rocking chairs on a porch now. Oh well, since we had our dog with us we decided to order to go. I walked in and was greeted immediately by the to... More

This place is an mile off of I-75. If your traveling through and want a great place for a sit down meal, this is a great place. Each meal comes with a salad bar and dessert bar, plus cornbread and two sides. The food is great!

After a days' travel from the St. Louis area on our way to Florida, we went to the Smok'n Pig because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. We cannot give a review of the interior or the wait staff because we got our food to go. They have a counter dedicated to take out and gifts which... More
