Description: In 1919, a handsome doctor presented the keys of a stately mansion to his new bride. That mansion, Green Manor, still stands…it’s historic architecture carefully restored…wide verandas…beveled glass doors…beautiful chandeliers…a magnificent mahogany staircase. Crossing it’s threshold is returning to by gone South. So pull up a rocking chair on the Green Manor’s front veranda…this might just be your next great Georgia experience.

I've been to this restaurant several times when I come to Atlanta since my family lives close by. The restaurant serves a lunch buffet with all the traditional southern fair. There are certainly other establishments that serve better southern food, but none close to this locale. The food is average and the price is a little high for the meal.... More

The food is good and they have a variety of entrees, vegetables & salads to chose from. However, the food is a little bland for me. Thayer are a little pricey.

We went for Easter Brunch without reservations, but the staff made a way for us to get a seating with our party of 5. The place was full. The food was plentiful and hot. I thought the food was just ok, but I did like the options that they had available. The peach drink was divine! The trip to Union... More

Friends treated me to lunch at the Green Manor on a recent trip to Atlanta. It's a lovely old Southern Mansion with a huge porch complete with swings. They have transformed the rooms into dining areas but have kept the "old" flavor and decor. We were seated in the glassed in porch with a view of the garden. Their signature drink... More

GM offers very good Southern food, hospitality, and ambiance. I enjoyed fried chicken, collards, sweet potatoes, Mac n cheese, peach punch, red velvet cake and peach cobbler. I am looking foward to my next visit.

Great setting and service and plentiful selections on the buffet. The fried chicken is A+. There are several dessert selections too (so save room) - everything from old fashioned caramel cake to cobbler. Makes lunch seem like a special occasion - never rushed. Very close to I-85 - and well worth a couple of minute drive vs going to a... More

I enjoy the food every time I visit here. It's southern food served buffet style. The food is seasoned well, and there are a variety of meats and veggies to choose from. The staff is usually very friendly also.

It was my first time visiting Green Manor. We went during lunch and were surprised to find it was a buffet! They had all sorts of southern food. I have to recommend the Peach Punch, it's like Kool-Aid with lots of sugar. We had a table where we could see out onto the garden, and took a walk there after... More

I love this place. I have been coming ever since I was a little girl. Good old southern cooking. Amazing deserts and a staff that makes you feel like your at home. Not to mention how beautiful this old home is.

I initially went with my co-workers for a group luncheon and was so impressed with the "spread" laid before us - that I took my husband and mother on two different trips! Everything is delicious and the workers keep the food coming. The food is just down home southern cooking, hats off to the cooks...they know what they're doing (makes... More
