In 1919, a handsome doctor presented the keys of a stately mansion to his new bride. That mansion, Green Manor, still stands…it’s historic architecture carefully restored…wide verandas…beveled glass doors…beautiful chandeliers…a magnificent mahogany staircase. Crossing it’s threshold is returning to by gone South. So pull up a rocking chair on the Green Manor’s front veranda…this might just be your next great Georgia experience.

Really nice place to eat

We stopped here based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. The buffet was really very good. While the fare was plain, fried chicken, mac & cheese, greens etc, it was prepared exquisitely. The peach tea was especially good.

This buffet is hands down the best buffet and soul food spot in Atlanta period! The food is fresh and seasoned extremely well. I just wish they were open all of the time. ...then again maybe not because then I would gain even more weight:)

The Historic Green Manor Restaurant is the most elegant buffet I have ever been to. The food is excellent and is replenished often. Be sure to check the hours (closed on Saturday) I will return ~

I can't say enough about this restaurant from the beautiful antebellum home to the fabulous food you will not be disappointed. I have visited Green Manor many times over the years and I have never had a bad experience. This is a buffet style meal that offers traditional southern dishes, which are all seasoned to perfection. Anyone who visits must... More

We held my mom's 93rd birthday gathering at the Green Manor in August. We were in a private room that suited our family well. The waitress was very accommodating. Hit his is an all you can eat buffet style restaurant located in an old southern mansion. The food was "off the chain". The southern menu was filling and the variety... More

Had lunch at the Green Manor yesterday, September 4, 2015. It is a buffet that is appealing to the eye, BUT of all the items I tried from the line nothing gave me that WOW factor I was looking for. The mac & cheese, collards, rice/gravy, corn just had an out the can taste to me. The memorable choices I... More

We had our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at Green Manor. We wanted a Southern atmosphere and Green Manor fit the bill perfectly. All of our guests had only wonderful things to say. We had drinks in the cozy bar and food upstairs. That gave us lots of room for all of the people. The food was delicious, typical southern... More

We went for Sunday lunch. The buffet for 2 was about $39 (not including out tip), and it included your tea and dessert. It was delicious. It was my 1st time there, but we will definitely return. I had the fried chicken and it was very good. The yams with cooked apples was tasty, the dressing was cooked perfectly -... More

I like this place, good homestyle cooking, buffet style. When you walk in it reminds me of my Grandma's elegant dining room. The peach punch was a different spin for me but it was great, white gloved wait staff is a nice touch, & the food was Awesome! I will be back!

Always a good mix that includes fried chicken and a broiled fish, fresh fruit and green salad bar, fresh baked corn bread and desserts such as homemade banana pudding and cobbler. You can book a room for an event. They have a room that seats 80 and has decent acoustics
