Description: In 1919, a handsome doctor presented the keys of a stately mansion to his new bride. That mansion, Green Manor, still stands…it’s historic architecture carefully restored…wide verandas…beveled glass doors…beautiful chandeliers…a magnificent mahogany staircase. Crossing it’s threshold is returning to by gone South. So pull up a rocking chair on the Green Manor’s front veranda…this might just be your next great Georgia experience.

Great setting and service and plentiful selections on the buffet. The fried chicken is A+. There are several dessert selections too (so save room) - everything from old fashioned caramel cake to cobbler. Makes lunch seem like a special occasion - never rushed. Very close to I-85 - and well worth a couple of minute drive vs going to a... More

I enjoy the food every time I visit here. It's southern food served buffet style. The food is seasoned well, and there are a variety of meats and veggies to choose from. The staff is usually very friendly also.

It was my first time visiting Green Manor. We went during lunch and were surprised to find it was a buffet! They had all sorts of southern food. I have to recommend the Peach Punch, it's like Kool-Aid with lots of sugar. We had a table where we could see out onto the garden, and took a walk there after... More

I love this place. I have been coming ever since I was a little girl. Good old southern cooking. Amazing deserts and a staff that makes you feel like your at home. Not to mention how beautiful this old home is.

I initially went with my co-workers for a group luncheon and was so impressed with the "spread" laid before us - that I took my husband and mother on two different trips! Everything is delicious and the workers keep the food coming. The food is just down home southern cooking, hats off to the cooks...they know what they're doing (makes... More

I visit Union City every couple months. I never miss my visit to the Green Manor. The food is the definition of comfort food. The staff is friendly and efficient. The facility grounds are beautiful, and you feel like you're eating on your mother's front porch, not a busy restaurant. It is my idyllic Southern lunch destination.

Went here with a tour group. Service was really great and food is served buffet style. Good southern fried chicken, dressing and lots of veggies and salads. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Lots of people there for Sunday lunch but serving dishes were never empty.

The restaurant looks like an old plantation house and it seems scary and creepy, but the food sure is good! I really love the chicken and macaroni and cheese. I can't remember the price, but it is more than your normal buffet places, but it was good and FRESH! I LOVE fresh food.

I have mixed feelings about this place. While the setting is beautiful, and the fried checken and homemade rolls and peanut butter cake were excellent, the vegetables were not anything special, and the total cost of $20.00 was pretty high for lunch. The biggest problem was that the food was way too salty. And this from someone who likes country... More
