After 3,5 weeks of traveling coast to coast we had our best dinner so far at Sundae Cafe! From outside it doesn't look much - but when you get in: Great atmosphere. Staff was great and friendly, food was amazing and nothing but amazing. My mega crab cake (specialty of the day) was a magical fusion of tastes presented in... More

This restaurant was recommended by a local so we gave it a try. It's located in a strip mall and from the outside you wouldn't think it was anything special. Inside it's very nice and is a very busy place. We called early that day and they had 1 opening at 9pm and we took it. This was the best... More

We had struggled trying to find a really good restaurant to eat at on the island. One of our favorites had closed down and we were so disappointed. I had saw the reviews and had heard from friends that Sundae Cafe was wonderful. So, I decided to make reservations for our family and I am so glad I did. It... More

We were delighted with our experience at Sundae Cafe. The food and service were exceptional. The Southern Oysters were great! This place is Tybee answer to Savannah's fine dining and only a short drive.

Sundae Café was recommended by the company that we rented our house from. We stopped in for lunch. Service was very good and food was also very good. There were 7 of us and they were able to accommodate us with no problem. My daughter didn't like her chicken sandwich at all (she only ate a couple bites) and they... More

This is a real gem on Tybee Island. The food was great, but you'll need to make reservations in advance.

Had reservations for eight people two times during my week long stay. Very nice environment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent also. Try the salmon and red snapper if your a fish fan. The key lime pie is awesome too!

My family of nine went here for my birthday dinner. We had reservations and it was a good thing! Everything about this restaurant was wonderful except the surroundings. Hard to find parking and the outside was a little run down. Other than that, I can't say enough positive things about Sundae Cafe! We had a wide variety of different meals.... More

In 5 days, we ate at Sundae's 4 times, which says a lot about both the restaurant and the overall shortage of really good restaurants on Tybee. (Perhaps the south end offers some good alternatives, but we found parking in that area to be a problem.) We had one lunch and 3 dinners. All meals featured really excellent dishes--although we... We called two days ahead and luckily got a late dinner reservation, so make reservations for sure. My husband had the lobster Mac and cheese, it was amazing. My son had the jambalaya pasta, again amazing. My crabcake was so full of crab, no fillers. My daughter had shrimp and grits, the best ever. And also had the bisque, so... More
