I am not sure but maybe we missed something here or went on an off day? I found the food to be OK at best. I had the daily lunch special which was a mixed grill of scallops, shrimp and grouper and the plate was on the cold side. The grouper was over cooked and dry and the rest just... More

Ok so I ordered chicken fingers, fries and cole slaw...pretty standard and I thought these will be just OK. Well I was pleasantly surprised they were light not greasy and delicious. My husband ordered the crab cake sandwich. It was huge and falling the bun. He didn't care it too was delicious. We both loved the cole slaw. It had... More

The visitor's center suggested this to us and we have been there twice already for lunch. Quaint little place that might be missed because of its location in a little strip mall, but don't be fooled. Also, for dinner the atmosphere is "fine dining", totally different than lunch. A must eat in Tybee!

Our Monday lunch began with sharing a dozen medium sized oysters cooked crisp in a light batter served with catsup & a flavorful unique tartar sauce. They were moist and delicious. We then shared a special of the day called Mixed Grill which was a fillet of Mahi Mahi that had scallops, medium sized shrimp & a touch of sautéed... More

I went to Sundae Cafe during restaurant week on Tybee Island. This restaurant is located between a liquor store and gas station in a strip mall style- I had looked for it before without GPS but never noticed it because of the location. The food was really great! The calamari, filet oscar and key lime pie were all amazing. The... More

Four of us went to lunch. They offer daily specials, and two in our group had the turkey dinner - white meat turkey, stuffing and two sides! Both took half home. One of us had fried shrimp -- they were local and delicious and the other had a shrimp po'boy. The menu was very good too. It is definitely a... More

We found Sundae Cafe on yelp and were very happy with our lunch here. They had the best grits I've ever had! The fried green tomato burgers were excellent but I must say the server and service were just outstanding even though it was crowded (no wonder) - friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. So sorry we didn't have room for... More

Great food, good value, fantastic service. Unfortunately not a lot of parking! Highly recommended. Go early to get a parking place. This was the best part of Tybee Island.
