What can I say about the Sundae Cafe? First things first: Do not allow it's outside appearance fool you. We arrived at 2p for lunch and...it was packed to the gill. Yes, this was the first good sign. We were served by the most hysterical southern waitress, who showed me how to order a half-sweet tea in Georgia. :) She... More

This place is always packed for lunch and dinner. They have one of the best lunch values ever. You cant beat the food and the price for the lunch special. NEVER EVER had a bad meal here and even once craved their chicken salad sandwich coming out of surgery, ha ha. If your going for dinner I strongly suggest reservations.... More

Small, cozy, informal in appearance and deceiving to put it mildly. I've dined at some of the first restaurants up and down the east coast and mid West. The Sundae Cafe is among the top. The food, quality, quantity, and presentation are second to none. Friends from Sanibel call every year to have me get them a reservation (generally required)... More

This is one of our favorite places for dinner. Make a reservation because it fills up fast. Great menu and bar selections. Nightly specials are always wonderful. If you can't get in for dinner go for lunch.

Just happened to be walking by to see a small line out front. The staff were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. We were told to not bother reading the menu just come on in and eat with us. Glad we did. The atmosphere is very relaxing such as the decor, music and seating arrangements. The food was... More

Met a Tybee local in Savannah who recommended this restaurant and so far it is the best food we have had. pecan crusted chicken salad was awesome and BLT sandwich and fries was fresh and tasty. Service was very good as well. Parking is tight since Cafe is located in a strip mall with other businesses.

My husband and I ate at Sundae Café on recommendation from the Bed and Breakfast were we are staying. We stopped early in the day and were able to make a reservation for 7 pm that night even though we were to eat at the bar. We walked so had no issues with parking. Atmosphere was energetic as the place... More

Parking is a pain, but this little restaurant in a strip mall/gas station is good food. Lobster Mac&Cheese is awesome, shrimp and grits were excellent. Worth the cost.

During our 4 day vacation on Tybee Island, we sampled six restaurants and found Sundae Cafe to be our favorite. It's a small, busy but pleasant place in a strip mall on the main drag. I had the meatloaf sandwich and my wife ordered the steak salad. Both of ours meals were excellent, especially when compared to most of the... More

On a quick trip through Tybee, we noticed the parking lot was not too full and decided to have lunch here around 2. We got seated immediately. We asked the waiter what they were known for ..."dinner". We got a burger, crab cake sandwich with side salad, fried steak special, and kids chicken tenders. Everything was delicious. The side salad... More
