Local Bar with Food

This is a friendly local bar and they serve great basic food. Burgers, chicken wings, etc. We went here twice and the food is very good and prices very reasonable.

To be fair I have rated this place average as I didn't actually get to try any food or beer. For all I know it may be a brilliant bar, but is obviously not designed for having lunch with kids (they are barred anyway). The place looked Interesting but there is such an overpowering smell of stale tobacco smoke that... More

Wonderful old bar atmosphere! Great food and drinks. Way too smoky! Don't know how they can serve food with the smoking going on.Great bartender! Ask her about her pet pig. Would be my favorite place if not for the smoking

We just came for a cup of coffee. However, we decided to enjoy a small meal. Food was surprisingly delicious. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. Crap cakes were to die for. They were filled with real meat not with just breading. I recommend to all.

Never had a bad meal here. Bit of a dive bar but nice staff and the food is always good. Give it a try!

We loved it from the wonderful bartender with all her great suggestions and the best fish sandwich that we had anywhere. It felt like a neighborhood bar that made us feel like we belonged

Typical classic dive bar. Strong drinks. No-nonsense bartender, but friendly, attentive and did her job well. Surprisingly delicious food. You could tell it was more of a locals place and I usually prefer that. We visited around lunchtime and you could observe all of the locals stopping in and/or picking up their lunch. Obvious choice of the locals, so you... More

I did not eat at this bar but enjoyed some cheap beer and whiskey. We were recommended to check this place out because they are said to have the strongest drinks on the island. The atmosphere is everything you'd expect from a classic dive bar. It was nice to fine a hole in the wall like this out of all... More

We love going to the Wind Rose. While it is a bar, they also have great homemade lunches and dinners. They have the BEST crab cakes ever!! They have the most friendly staff and we love Alaina! She has a great sense of humor!!
