Fish for dinner

We expected a long wait, but it was reasonable and comfortable sitting in the shaded waiting area with our drinks. We started our meal with conch fritters. My husband ordered the special, salmon florentine. It was okay; a little too many bread crumbs on top and not as flavorful as expected. I got... read more

We went there on 7/3 for a late lunch. Waited 35 minutes for seating and that would have been fine but we waiting another 50 minutes from the time we sat down until we received our food. Also the food was nothing special, quite bland and I would definitely not recommend it. Ordered crab cake sandwich, gumbo and chicken fingers.... More

Definitely not the best food on the island but it does have the great dockside view. Service was good but the kitchen was slow and the food wasn't bad but pretty forgettable. Definitely come her for the view and not the rest.

We were seated in a covered, enclosed area outside of the restaurant. It had to be over 90 degrees with just a few fans that the staff had allowed one patron to turn all in his direction. Food was average at best. Service was attentive.

I enjoy watching the dolphins play while we're eating dinner. The food is always exceptional and very friendly staff. We had shrimp; it was very good.

This is a wonderful place for friends to meet for lunch, with excellent food, friendly waitstaff and a view of the water which can make for a convivial event. Their hamburgers are delicious and with a great variety of fish cooked as one wishes, it is not to be missed.

This is a great place for dinner and a view. The sunset is amazing and worth sitting outside. We had the fried calamari for an appetizer and I had the oyster po'boy for dinner. Parking is challenging so be prepared. The wait is usually long so it's worth dropping someone off at the door while the driver locates a place... More

My husband and I went in at 1:45 pm hoping to miss the lunch crowd and it looked like we did. After being seated as soon as we walked in, I thought good, we picked the right time. We sat there a good 10 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged us. After joking with the people at the table behind... More

It you haven't experienced AJ's Dockside, it's time! We were vacationing in the downtown Savannah area, and we were also going out to Tybee Island to visit the beach, we were told to go to AJ's Dockside, it was not easy to find it was on the Marsh at the end of the block in a housing development. Very beach... More

Awesome bar and restaurant, offering terrific seafood, salads, burgers and cocktails. Enjoy the awesome views of the boats and water as you leisurely dine on the deck. If you are in a hurry, you are in the wrong place, as it's casually southern. Well worth an hour or two of your time sitting back relaxing.
