Was a true pleasure to serve you and your family. I wish you a safe trip. Thanks very much for stopping and sharing your time. I know that the hot sauce (Tybee Sauce), you bought, will remind you of your trip. thanks, Gerald More

Today was our first visit to Gerald's Pig and Shrimp on Tybee Island and we are so glad we finally stopped to try the food. The comfortable open-air dining was fabulous as the sunset started to fall on the island. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches which were tender and delicious and perfectly smoked. Their homemade BBQ sauce was the best... More

Gerald cooked and hung out with us as we sampled the restaurant's finest -- the jalapeno hush puppies, coleslaw, fried okra, and limeade are a must!

We enjoyed excellent BBQ sandwiches, excellent service, and great fall weather while dining at the pavillion and chatting amiably with Gerald, the owner. Next time, I'll try the local shrimp!

Our family cannot rave enough about how wonderful the shrimp and smoked chicken were. Gerald was so easy going and I could not have asked for a better place to host our wedding reception. Gerald and his staff went out of their way made shrimp for guests fresh and was exactly how my husband and I had hoped for. Not... More

Friends don't let friends eat imported shrimp! That is their motto and they stick by it. Funky little outdoor eatery on the main drag into Tybee. No ocean view but plenty to look at anyway.

For southern bbq, I expected more. It wasn't bad at all, but the food was really just average, if that. Not memorable. The staff was very nice and was able to accommodate a large to go order. The brisket was boring but more like roast beef, almost no smokey flavor. The pork was pork. The "Tybee" sauce was a bit... More

We went because the atmosphere looked really cool and laid back. Food was over priced for what it was. Only 6 small shrimp came on the shrimp po boy and it was $9. It's a cool place to grab a beer and a snack but not a meal. Staff very attentive and friendly.

We really looked forward to going here as a result of the great reviews. Together we had boiled shrimp, BBQ pork, fried shrimp, hush puppies, fries, and baked beans. There was nothing that was good enough to take us back there except the service. Pork was rather dry and tasteless, shrimp was okay but not the best on the island,... More
