Come as you are, bring the family...eat, drink and be merry. Gerald’s Pig and Shrimp is a casual outdoor dining establishment, backdropped with towering shade trees and located across the road from Tybee Island’s sprawling salt-water marshes. We loved this restaurant so much, we had to come back the next day to sample more of their food. You know the shrimp is fresh when the shrimp fisherman is having a beer at the bar!

It was a lot of fun! Sitting outside... With a beer and having a savory pulled pork sandwich. The location is along route 80 - traffic when we were last week was minimal, not sure what high tourist time would be like. Fun but the pricing is a bit high. $3 for a half an ear of corn :/

Stopped in here on a trip to Tybee and had an excellent shrimp PoBoy and a cold beer. Did not try anything else, but the BBQ looked and smelled good. Shrimp were nice and fresh.

Sitting here now and just enjoyed the most delicious meal. Gerald, the owner was so nice. The food is great. We came here last year and we have been thinking about it since then. Couldn't wait to get back. And we'll definitely visit again the next time we're on the island. Keep up the good work Gerald. You have a... More

Very nice, laid back atmosphere. However, we were not impressed with the food as a whole. We are not picky eaters by any means - but neither of us could eat more than one bite of our green beans -- just terrible. The ribs were not great, either. However, the shrimp was fantastic, as was the fresh corn. Very pricey... More

I do love the atmosphere here outdoors and the staff was really nice however if you are looking for BBQ go somewhere else. Don’t get me wrong the food was not bad but it was not BBQ. I was very disappointed to see my brisket cooked all the way through and no smoke ring at all. The pulled pork was... More

Ate here with my husband while we vacationed in Tybee for our honeymoon. We both ordered pulled pork and ribs and I got a side of okra. My husband and I are always skeptical about ribs wherever we go because they can be chewy and not worth the effort. For the first time in my life I ate "fall of... More

We ate here a couple of times. Very informal. The food was good and fresh. The BBQ was good as was the seafood.
