Cool Vibe, Smaller Portions

Great "beachy" atmosphere and cool vibe. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) stopped by on a recent 3 day Tybee vacation. Came for dinner and slipped into the bar- love the low lighting and casual vibe. Live music setting up for night as well and great mix of families and couples. Bartender... read more

My husband and I decided to give social a try instead of going to 80 East. Wasn't a good choice! The bartender was great until she started doing shots with another couple! The appetizer we ordered was shrimp ceviche. Nothing like I've had before. So many chips we had to move out the way to find the ceviche an it... More

We went to the Social Club when we could t get into Fish Camp. Big mistake. We were seated inside at a table near the door and the band. The music was so loud that we could t even talk. If this was marketed as a bar, I'd understand, but it wasn't. The food was basic....not bad, but not worth... More

We went for open mike night with a large group. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and the tacos. There is a relaxed retro/beach ambiance selection of beer made the evening a success. We will be back.

I really like the atmosphere here. I only had appetizers and they were ok. Live music, nice drinks is worth a visit. I'm a picky eater so I'm not judging them on food. Service was excellent!

We went to Social twice in our week on Tybee. The restaurant is decorated perfectly for the beach with natural woods, locally made art (which we purchased off the wall!). The food is incredible, mixing local seafood, flavors, unique ingredients, and wonderful, friendly service that will offer you a dining experience. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu,... We had been on the Island for 6 days and I had been begging to go here. We finally decided to stop in a grab a drink and an appetizer. We are ALL glad we did! Our waitress was wonderful and the decor was cute! The Blood Orange Sangria is THE BEST hands down!!!

Stopped for a quick bite while visiting the island. Quite tasty. My party ordered the blackened fish taco. The portion size is small but our waitress had let us know before the order was placed. For us it was the perfect size for a lite bite. We also ordered the special which was a barbecue pulled pork sandwich. It was... More

Our family visited for dinner, and it was apparent that the kitchen was struggling to keep up. First, our server told us that they were out of avocados, which affected multiple appetizers and entrees. (There is a grocery store right down the street, and they do sell avocados) Then, our appetizers took a long time to arrive (~30 minutes), and... More
