Sometimes You Feel Like a Pizza

I don't normally eat pizza on vacation. I don't travel 1000 miles to eat things I can get at home. So, no, I didn't go to McDonalds in London. But sometimes you feel like a pizza. And if you're on Tybee Island and feel like a pizza, Lighthouse is a good pizza to get. There isn't much I can... read more

Maybe it isn't our favorite pizza? They were fast and it was average but nothing stands out other than the price. After taking to others on the Island, some of the other pizza shops might be a better choice but I can't say that for sure since we haven't tried them yet. Still have a couple weeks here so I'm... Ate on a very dead evening in January. Were about the only ones there. Had ceasar salads with sandwiches. I had a meatball and wife had a philly cheesesteak. The bread was good which is important.

I will admit, that taking pizza out can sometimes make for a cold pizza. Particularly when it is 35 degrees outside. We were not far from our hotel, and the pizza was warm (although not hot) when we picked it up, so I am not surprised it was cold when we got to our hotel. I will say that there... More

Second delivery frm lighthouse pizza was a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! Sorry excuse for a pizza, not fresh, frozen pizza toppings, Burntish -dry crust, nasty meat products (sausage &ham) nasty frozen dried out meatballs not at all like the ones I got on our first delivery. My first delivery from lighthouse pizza in early jan 2016 was For the most part ok... More

The decor way as expected, nautical and designed for summer trade. But the food was way above expectations. I had a meatball sub that was loaded with meatballs, overfilled with a great sauce and just the right amount of cheese melted in perfectly ( a two napkin meal). My wife's manicotti was excellent and the bread sticks ( more like... More

I definitely recommend Lighthouse. The pizza is very good and the selections are also good. We will definitely go for a return visit.

Tasted good, but not quite what we expect from pizza. If you like a very thin crust, you will like it though. We had takeout so I did not see what options they had as my hubby ordered it.

We drove 12 hours from IN straight into the island and were starving by the time we got here. It was Xmas day so most places were closed. Lighthouse North was open and on the island so we decided to take our teenage girls there. We tried to order for there but when they said we could not buy a... More
