Excellent food & service

After a long day at a conference and setting up another event, we were beyond hungry. We found Marlow's because it was just across from the Target where we were getting last-minute supplies for the next day. Wow! Am I glad we did! This is definitely a bar scene - we got there around 9:15 and... read more

I can sum up my experience in a simple word, "amazing"! The service, the food, the atmosphere, the drinks - they were all worth all 5 green dots I give this establishment. I would highly recommend the White Cheddar Grit Cakes. Although they come with the Shrimp and Grits, I offered them on the side and my mind was blown.... More

Just visited this place 2/7/16. We were a group of 12. The food is fantastic. Our waitress and hostess (can't remember their names) were very nice also.

In Atlanta (well Decatur actually), staying at a DoubleTree and decided to check out Marlow's Tavern because it is next to the hotel. Wow, am I surprised. The food is so good that this is my 3rd night in a row for dinner and I'm REALLY picky. This place rocks. A smaller menu but everything I had was fantastic. Their... More

Decided to have dinner at Marlows while on an overnight trip to Atlanta from my home in Knoxville. The tavern wasn't too busy, and we were seated almost immediately. Server took our drink orders within a reasonable amount of time, and took the food orders at the same times as well. My Tanqueray and tonic was mixed perfectly, and the... More

We ate at Marlowe's Tavern and found the wait staff and food to be very good. It is a mix between a grill and a sports bar. Mostly pub-styled food (though there were some entrees we didn't try) that was well prepared and presented. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Really slow service. We asked for 6 dishes and the waiter brought us only 4. Drinks also last too long. The manager was kind and made things change, but we already had a bad taste of the service.

We ate on the patio last Friday night since the restaurant was crowded. Live music. Good but just a tad loud. Our server was great---forgot his name. We had two very good cocktails: a grapefruit rickey for my friend and a ginger margarita for me. Nice way to wind down the week! We shared the trout dip as an app... More

I ordered a red wine sangria which was delish! I also had the buffalo wraps and the truffle fries, great snack for early afternoon!

This Marlow's is attached to the Doubletree Inn and there is simply not enough parking. We had to go way around to the back of the building. After that, things got better. We moved 4 different times to get a suitable table, but the hostess and servers were very accommodating, and we ended up in a good spot (away from... More
