Took my wife and sister-in-law for a hearty breakfast (my favorite meal of the day) and we were not disappointed. The menu is large enough to satisfy any breakfast fanatic. I loved the waitress who still called us darlin' and honey. She was down home friendly but also very proficient in her job. My over easy eggs were cooked to... More

If you like good, hickory smoked BBQ or a platter-sized country breakfast with all the trimmings, this restaurant is just the ticket. I recently went after not having visited for about 10 years (I moved out of the area) and, thankfully, could not find anything different about it - food was consistently good and the place still reminds me of... We have eaten bbq all across the country, and Old Hickory House in Tucker can't be beat for pulled pork and ribs. Nobody serves better bbq or value.

We were starving and followed the trip advisor recommendation. Very nice waitress. Pork and beef we're good but one was dry. Coleslaw was so good we asked for seconds. Worth a visit.

For the price, this place can't be beat. It it is located in an unpretentious strip mall. When I visited, the parking lot was really crowded. I knew it had to have good food but would they provide the service? You bet. We were invited to sit wherever we wanted. The service was very attentive and the food was delivered... More

Old Hickory house BBQ has been in my life for as long as I can remember and I'm 48 y.o. When you pull up in the parking lot and open your car door the first thing you notice is the aroma of hickory smoked BBQ. AWESOME. The Q is great the stew is good. The steak sandwich is awesome. The... More

Very good bbq........very good service! We had lunch at Old Hickory House on a Tuesday in July. The food was excellent, the service was quick, the waitress was witty & fun. We enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

I'm not a big fan of chain BBQ places. While Old Hickory is far from perfect they serve better than average pulled pork and ribs at a very reasonable price. They haven't followed recebt trends of underdone overfatty pork. What they serve is tasty and not too greasy pork complemented with a lightly tangy traditional sauce. The service here is... More

Came here with a large group of people and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which I really enjoyed. It had a nice smoky taste and there was just enough tasty sauce (they give you extra sauce if you need it). The pickles in the sandwich were nice and crunchy and all that was in between fresh bread. I would... More

Went with 10 people for breakfast on Black Friday and had one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I ordered the BBQ breakfast that was 2 perfectly cooked over medium eggs, slices of BBQ Beef, potatoes with onions and the fluffiest biscuits I have ever eaten. Instead of potatoes I could have had grits or biscuit gravy. Everything... More
