Good food

I had a delicious vegetarian panini and it was skillfully prepared with the bread grilled on the outside but on the inside still soft and fresh. My husband also enjoyed his soup and sandwich. Staff very pleasant and the old building with what looked like an old soda fountain bar added some... read more

The food was really good at Cornerstone Restaurant. Portions were large and the prices were great. It has that "family" feel and was conveniently connected to a fun antique mall. The restaurant is located in the quaint town of Toccoa where you feel like you've stepped back in time and can enjoy the small town era and a slower pace... More

The place has the warmth and feel of hometown USA. The people are friendly and the resturant is clean. Food was good but I was disappointed by the use of canned gravy instead of homemade, which is part of the resturant theme. Overall, the experience was good, people friendly and large portions. It is worth a try if you are... More

We went for dinner one night and had salads and desserts. The salad was fresh and the desserts were awesome. Friendly staff.

Atmosphere is quaint in downtown Toccoa. I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. It came out ice cold! My husband and I were going to share based upon the waitresses comment that they serve 'hearty' portions. No so! The plate the waitress brought out for my husband was dirty. We were with a group of 40+ and... More

We had the pleasure of dining here while visiting Toccoa and had an excellent experience. The restaurant is very attractive inside with old brick walls and wooden floors and quite spacious It is attached to a large 3 floor antique mall which we toured for a couple of hours and worked up an appetite before having dinner. The staff is... More

Great food, great service. Bryan and his staff are so accommodating and wonderful to work with. We had our class reunion at Cornerstone with a fantastic dinner buffet. The food was cooked perfectly, and Bryan made all the coordination look easy . . . definitely the place to eat in downtown Toccoa!

We visited with a large family group (10) and they got us seated right away and drinks moving, which was perfect after our visit to Talulah Gorge nearby. Everyone ordered something different - from sandwiches to salads - and all were tasty and came out promptly.

While staying at the Simmons-Bond Inn we walked to the Cornerstone which was once called the X-Factor so you'll see signs for both names on the windows. There is a more extended menu on Thurs - Sat. so we were glad we were there on Sat. night. Two of us highly recommend the shrimp and grits! And on a Saturday... More

My husband and I had dinner here. Very well priced. Fried green tomatoes were the best. Fried squash was amazing. My husband had a bbq plate. It was also delicious. Apparently their cook had just quit. I mentioned how excellent the food was to our sweet waitress and she informed us that the owner was cooking. I highly recommend this... More
