A welcome haven in a storm

We were caught in a bad thunderstorm, while returning home from Florida. Since we were hungry anyway, we pulled in here. A lot of people were here and so we thought we'd stop and eat until the storm was over. As you enter, you pass by boxes of tomatoes and fruit, which are for sale by the pound... read more

We have eaten here several times in the past but our most recent visit showed a 78 on the scorecard so we did not even go in . It is posted in a very inconspicuous place where most would not even see it. We have always had good service but it is a little pricey.

We actually plan trip times to stop here for lunch! It's ALWAYS good, always plentiful, service is smiling. Southern vegetables are seasoned perfectly and desserts are homemade. This is the only time I ever get dessert - and it's a temptation I can't refuse. If you don't have a Southern palate don't even bother.

A bunch of slop! There was a bug crawling on the buffet and too much fat and sodium. The restrooms were disgusting. Doesn't seem like they clean often in that place! Eeww!

This is a popular spot with awful food! Watered down potatoes, grey "green" beans..even the pudding has canned flavor. The chicken is just ok. Why do southerners think it's ok to float last years sweet corn in water?

Hugh selection of meat, vegetables, salad, deserts and bread. Better than Sunday dinner for the preacher. Vegetable are cooked with flavor not just poured out of the can. Great selection also. Plenty of meat choices, fried and grilled. Even if your dieting there is something there to fill you up. Lots of different salads and fruit on the salad bar.... More

Found on Tripadvisor heading down 75 to Fl. Food was excellent. Cute country decor and clean. Definitely on our list for a future visit!

Lots of good food. The service wasn't great and the bathrooms need remodeled and freshened up. We would visit again if passing through and really hungry.

We went out of our way to visit Ole Times Country Buffet as we visited this location on our way to Atlanta a couple of years ago. The food was still delicious and plentiful. Lots of southern fried chicken, pork chops, fried okra, best creamed corn, southern veggies, biscuits, cornbread, yeast rolls on the main buffet as well as other... More
