The staff is so friendly, and the local people seem to love it. The food is mostly sports bar type but extremely well prepared. The usual sports bar food, but quite delicious. They have quite good prime ribs, steak, quesadillas, and nightly specials, as well as hamburgers, chicken burgers etc. There is a nice selection of very fresh salads also.... More

If you have been to Thomson you will realize that besides a Mexican restaurant, Ryan's, and a place called something like fernandinos there is no place to actually sit down and have a meal with your spouse. This is a good option. Hogie joe offers an environment that every man would love to watch a game at while still enjoying... More

The food is great as well as the service. Hogie joes has a great atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant for travelers. My only concern was that the prices were a little high.

Ate here while participating on a cycling event through town. Atmosphere was enjoyable. We had some time to kill and wanted to get out of the heat. That was fortunate since the service wasn't particularly fast (they were quite busy). The staff was friendly and the food quite good (I had the Amy's Burger, my companions had steaks). Definitely worth... More

Our office eats here on a regular basis. Have never had a bad meal. Great burgers and unbelievable salads. Don't order the full salad, get half size. You will have trouble eating all of the half size. Great sports atmosphere as well. Very casual, excellent service.

We went for lunch and had the Bulldog burger. Sooo good! A burger topped with their spicy pimento cheese and bacon crumbles on top. The end result is like a spicy, bacon cheddar burger. Service was fast and friendly. It would have been nice if they'd had a bigger beer selection, but if you're in Thomson definitely give hogie Joe's... More

Hogie Joe's is a great place to eat when you travel My wife had a prime rib dinner with a baked potato. I did not wish to eat that much so I had the special, a prime rib sandwich with fries. My wife's dinner arrived and she had a good sized portion of prime rib. I had the same size... More

We were looking to eat at a restaurant that was on the "Thomson website," called Abe's. When we called the restaurant, because we couldn't find it, the restaurant was in Tennessee! Hogie Joe's was an unexpected alternative. Great food and great service!

Stumbling around Thomson late evening on a Saturday we stopped here because it appeared busy. We very pleased with our meal. Three of us at hamburgers and one at steak. I had the shroom burger which was very good. Our waitress was very pleasant and took good care of us. My only negative is that I thought it took a... More
