A large group of us went to this eatery after a family funeral. I ordered the $13.95 meatloaf dinner with a side of mashed potatoes with red skins and steamed, mixed veggies. My husband ordered the $13.95 open faced roast beef sandwich with gravy and the same veggies I had. One of my cousins ordered a Ceasar's Salad. A lady... More

The food is good and the service is decent. The menu is varied and extensive, so you can always find something. I prefer to go there for lunch as it is always busy and fun to watch people and catch up with friends. A nice place to go for breakfast or lunch in Buford.

I love to eat here. The owner always is there and checks on things to make sure your experience was good. The desserts are amazing. Make sure to try the french toast!

We stopped in for lunch at the suggestion of a local business owner, and we were seated immediately. I looked at the menu and thought about the hot open turkey plate, but at the last minute I decided on the French Toast with Sausage Link. I'm so glad I changed my mind because the French Toast was absolutely delicious, and... More

Waitress brought wrong order, passed by the table but couldn't care less if everything was okay. Husbands $10.00 roast beef sandwich was awful. Waitress was rude. We used to eat here often but the past 3 visits have been bad experiences. It seems like something has changed with owner or management; it used to be a good place to eat,... More

I just left there without eating! Normally, I love this place! But, today I had the feeling I was the wrong color! I am black and I tip well! I came in with my hubby and was seated..... My waitress did not come to the table for more than 3 minutes. I heard, who was supposed to have been my... More

I've been to the Diner at Sugar Hill twice this week, once for brunch, and once for lunch. Both times the service left something to be desired. The wait staff gives me the feeling they don't care about their customers. Case in point, we were ignored for about 15 minutes today before someone at the host stand finally noticed we... More

I ordered fried catfish. My husband ordered a rib eye. My daughter ordered the roast beef with gravy. The food was good, but . . . my coleslaw tasted like perfume (something was TOO sweet in it) and my husband's potato was supposed to be served "loaded" according to the menu. It came with a small cup of butter beside... More
