Late night on weekday.

Grabbed a bite to eat after 9pm and the food, service and prices were great. Dixie greeted us with a smile and we never felt rushed even though we knew we were the last table of the night. Nice place!

I went here with family, all adults, on a recent trip to the area. We were originally told a 30 minute wait on a Sunday morning. We waited maybe 10 minutes. The waitress came over quickly and brought us coffee. We didn't wait long for our food to be prepared. It was great. The eggs and grits were really good... More

My wife and I have now eaten here three times and each time we have had a great dining experience. A server appears at your table right after being seated and greets you with a friendly smile. The server is well versed in the menu and the food is always excellent and the chef has a unique presentation. The hot... More

Looking for a place to have my baseball team and family, I settled on The Diner because of the closed off Dining Room (35 people) and the Menu. The kids menu was a little small, but the portions were huge for my 10yr olds and had the basics that every kid would want! They boys went nuts over something as... More

When I see "Diner," I tend to expect diner prices. Unfortunately, that's not what you'll find here. They tend to be a little pricey for the types of food, but the size of the portions are rather generous, so it works out. We've had several dishes, and all of them have been filling & tasty. We've also had a few... More

Mornings can be crowded but the food is worth the wait also the breakfast prices are some of the best all around. Building is clearly an old Shoney's, and the decor try's to me more than it is, however the staff is very attentive and the food seems freshly made.

This restaurant is what I'd call a pillar of the local resturant communty - this was our first time there but the menu sort of said it all...it's been there for maybe 25+ years and has everything from home-made soups, chef salads, etc. to a bit more 'modern' tastes like wraps. All restaurant 'staples' were on the menu. :) My... More

Good service, great meals, wonderful desserts but my favorite is the volcano cake and they never have any left when I go. You'd think they'd order more since it's a favorite.

I went to the Diner with my son and his family. There were 5 adults and 2 toddlers. The little ones had pot roast which they really seemed to enjoy. My daughter-in-law and I had the stuffed flounder and stuffed shrimp , it was delicious. I really can't remember what every one else had ,but there were no complaints. The... More
