I grew up in this area, and it's great to see how this park has been kept up with and evolved. There are many activities to do here-attractions, history, camping, many dining choices, hotels and resorts, you can even walk or take the cable car up to the top of the mountain and see for miles. There's a great view... More

We were visiting for a week and decided to go check it out. Make sure that you have the proper shoes if you are planning to walk the trail. This is not a super easy trail but you need to make sure you take water and have the right shoes. It was a great hike even though the breeze was... More

great place for locals to walk, jog, hike and nature-watch. we see deer most everytime we go, and have even enjoyed the 'waterfalls' that come down the sides of the mountain after a nice rain. lucky to have this jewel in our back yard.

The peace I feel while I'm there is like no other. When I'm at the top, and away from other people, I feel closer to God. Also, if you get a chance to attend Easter Sunrise service at the top, I would highly recommend it

Beautiful view from top of mountain. Always loved the train ride. Played min golf and watched family do the obstacle course and rock climbing. Laser show a great way to end day. The plantation was interesting to see. The second day we were only there until early afternoon and the parts of the park we didn't see we're closed due... More

Great little day trip or weekend trip. Friendly workers in all the venues. Was disappointed that there is no laser show on Sundays.

The food at the Market Place is a bit below average. The chicken sandwich and burger looked very dry and the chicken tenders and pizza looked like they have been sitting out for a while. The French fries were probably the best out of everything and they where ok. I suggest either bringing your own food out going to a... More

LOVE going to the top of the mountain and the view. Hate the lifts and the waits. Love the laser light show. Love the museums. Train is so-so. 4D is pretty good. Food and drink is very overpriced and so-so quality. TAKE your food and drink. Love that you can pay $10 to park and enjoy the show for free.

The sculpture was amazing. I had seen a lot of pictures but they fall short of actually being there. The rock itself is 825 feet tall. A must see if your in Atlanta.

We visited stone mountain park on our visit to atlanta. The park was as much fun as I remember it as a child. Be advised not to plan riding the sky lift to top of mountain if it is windy because it does not run if wind is very strong. Also, we went on my child's spring break in March... More
