Great view from the top

great to for a short hike! only takes 30 to 45 minutes to get to the top. you also have the choice of taking a lift there, but it is not worth it, it is an easy hike.

The tram ride was fun and informative because of the tram operator. Once on top of the mountain, the views are amazing and you can stay and explore as long as you want. We bought our tickets ahead of time so we were able to bypass the long lines, and we enjoyed it so much, we did it two days... More

We went to snow mountain and i must say its mostly a kids adventure. We paid 28 bucks to ride snow mountain for two hours and by the time we stood in line and finally rode it had taken 30 mins. We didnt even get back in line again...that was too long of a wait for a 30 second slide... More

I walk here weekly, with 38 degree temperatures yesterday morning, I did a 3 mile walk around the mountain. (1 1/2 out and 1 1/2 miles back) I always start at the bottom of the mountain walk up. The parking was very good yesterday. Usually it very crowded, but I guess the cool temp. kept people away.

The view from the top of Stone Mountain is one everyone should see. The ride was about a minute and a half and the view was breath taking. To walk on the rock is not for everyone. The service is very uneven, but you can still see some of the view from the building on the top. If you are... More

we hiked to the top of Stone Mountain , it took about an hour but was not that hard. We are in our 70's and in good health so that should give you a clue of the difficulty, once you got up there you had a great view of the city of Atlanta etc.

This place is just magical. It is so pretty here. The mountain itself is awesome and all the trails and hiking paths just add to it's charm.

It is a very nice park for walking and bicycling. The museums and historical exhibits are not of the quality that I expected. There are also shops and play areas for children which many find entertaining. Personally, I didn't care for the amusement park feel of that area, but there are many other parts of the park that I was... More
