My husband and I love this restaurant, we had been there multiple times before the fire. We hope that the owner will reopen soon because we really miss the entrées served here! They had the best Moscow Mules!

This restaurant burned down on August 26, 2014. All the reviews are prior to it being burned down. The owner is in the process of reopening in another location. The food was outstanding.

i keep reading reviews of this restaurant.......they are untrue..this restaurant had a fire and was completely burned up. It has been closed over 6 months and will not be open for a long time. I don't know where these reviews keep coming from. It was a great little restaurant and we have driven there twice..last week was the latest...IT IS... More

Dinner on a Thursday night. I had the steak salad and wine. I was looking for something light as I travel for work and can't stand to eat unhealthy all the time. This was not only the perfect portion, but my steak was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere and staff were wonderful. I had the pleasure of meeting the... More

Dinner on Friday was a return to this very nice restaurant. As far as I am concerned, the best in town. The night of our return visit there were several tempting specials, four actually, between us we chose all four. The wahou was wonderful, fresh and citrusy as promised, a lovely light way to start. We also shared the lobster... More

Loved the whole fish - it was exquisitely flavored- the brussel sprouts are to die for, the soup was excellent, the bread incredibly yummy, and Shannee (sp?) was attentive - he cooked many of the items himself and was obviously a lover of great food, plus Amanda the bartender was wonderful.

I made a review some time ago and I said that I would be back. I did! One of the marks of a good restaurant is owner evolvement. The owner and his wife make it a point to visit each table, thank the customer for the business and make sure the customer is treated like the customer. Southern & Vine... More

This review is based upon several visits. South and Vine is always busy and loud. That just the nature of the room (a historic old drugstore make-over). The food and drinks are always very good and are sometimes excellent. Everything is fresh and as much as possible is local and fresh. Even condiments are made on site. The menu selections... More

Wow! What a great and much needed restaurant in Statesboro! We stopped in for lunch and left smiling ear to ear. The gumbo was the best we ever had. Shrimp po boy was yummy - wish it was bigger. Burger was great. We will be back for dinner and will bring family

I was traveling for business and spent a few nights in Statesboro. This was my first trip to the area; I travel often for business. I met a colleague for dinner at South and Vine Public House. I was bit early and when I walked in I was greeted and made to feel quite welcome. I sat at the bar... More
