Wow! What a great and much needed restaurant in Statesboro! We stopped in for lunch and left smiling ear to ear. The gumbo was the best we ever had. Shrimp po boy was yummy - wish it was bigger. Burger was great. We will be back for dinner and will bring family

I was traveling for business and spent a few nights in Statesboro. This was my first trip to the area; I travel often for business. I met a colleague for dinner at South and Vine Public House. I was bit early and when I walked in I was greeted and made to feel quite welcome. I sat at the bar... More

Very nice decor with pleasant surroundings in a friendly southern college town. Downtown near the Town Square.

The food was infinitely slow in coming. The room was loud and unappealing. Food was overcooked and the selection less than exciting. This is not a place we'd return to.

I am a previous restaurant owner and know some of what it takes to excel at the experience of dining. Not only is South & Vines food excellent, the service the experience and, most of all, the Value is without equal in Statesboro, Georgia. The chef knows what it takes to deliver the dining enjoyment his patrons want. This is... More

We asked to see a menu and were invited by the hostess to sit "anywhere." No problem as there were only two couples seated at tables in a space with over a dozen tables and several booths. We chose a booth. When it appeared we were staying and my wife went to the restroom, the hostess walked over and, without... More

Thanks to Trip Advisor we were able to find this amazing restaurant on our one evening near Statesboro! We liked the look of it as soon as we went in, received a warm welcome and had a glass of wine while we waited until our table was ready. Once we were seated in a cozy booth; the menu was so... More

we decided to stop in statesboro instead of savannah and south and vine sounded "right up our alley". welcoming atmosphere, attentive service and wonderful food - lucky statesboro that these folks are in town.

Had fish and chips for lunch. It was mediocre. Friend had a cheeseburger that was amazing. The homemade ketchup was terrible, and they will not serve you regular ketchup. Ordered a tonic water with lime to drink which the server kept bragging about because it is their own recipe, but it was very bland. Server spent way to much time... More

I went with five girlfriends and we all agreed that our dishes were terrific. We had an appetizer and desserts. I had salmon and everything on my plate was vibrant and flavorful-deliciously so! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, but the food steals the show. The chef stopped by our table twice to speak with us and the wait staff... More
