The real deal

Probably one of the most authentic restaurants in the 'Boro. The food is fresh and yummy with a plethora of Mexican and Ameri-Mex dishes. The price is perfect for families or "starving college" students. And the chip and salsa bar is great. A "go to" when craving Mexican.

Excellent food with an authentic flavor, we really enjoyed what we tried. We especially liked the chips and salsa bar, with something for everyone. The steak tacos were good and the steak enchilada was even better. Next time, and there will be a next time, I want to try the enchiladas verde and who knows what else. The only question... More

Good tacos! Generous portions. Authentic Mexican flavors: chorizo, tongue, carnitas, chicharones. Grab the chips, salsa, and other trimmings from the taco bar. Prompt friendly service. Rock bottom prices. They also have a small shop with Mexican goods and Santeria colognes (Florida Water etc.)

We have been going grew for about two years. They have the best food and wonderful waitresses. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. I love this restaurant.

There are several good Mexican style restaurants around this area. Many of them have snappy décor and decorative plating. This place seemed to forgo the bells & whistles and focused on the food. Just excellently seasoned and cooked Mexican food on plain plates. I went with my nephew one afternoon for a late lunch. He had the chicken fajitas and... More

Authentic food fare at the right price. Friendly staff and decent location to access from roadways. Recommend running to this border for whom the bell tolls! : ) (a little Metallica music Euphemism inspired from Hemingway- @bigtidepro

Reminded me of the small mom and pop Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles. Really Good! Carne Azada Rocked! Will come again for sure.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It's one of the best in town! It has a self service chip station with sour cream, salsa , pico de gallo and much more. WARNING: the green sauce is NOT guacamole. It's a spicy salsa. I knew this going in so I avoided it all along but I wouldn't want any of you to... More
