Entertaining and delicious

Who can resist loving a meal prepared before your eyes and listening to every sizzle. And speaking of eyes, no one in our group of 20 suffered any singed eyebrows during the cooking of the meal. For a dinner celebrating a college graduation, the setting was perfect. The staff was responsive and... read more

We eat here regularly... at least once a week and are never disappointed. The atmosphere is family oriented and the food is always delicious. The shrimp sauce us the best!

Face it, Statesboro is not the place to go for sushi. But, if you're having a craving, this is your best bet. The setting is very pleasant and service is good and friendly. They do a very good seaweed salad and some decent rolls. The sushi menu is limited, but relatively fresh. I'm a tuna fan and they do have... More

The atmosphere was regular. The wait staff needs to improve. We were given food without any silver, so I had to go grab one from one of the stations. We got food for the kid first and then ours, we had to remind the waiter that we needed silver. The waiter was polite, but not attentive. It was our first... More

I'm not surprised to find a sushi restaurant in most places, but I am surprised to find a Japanese Hibachi restaurant in a town of Statesboro's size. Happily surprised. Upon arriving there was a crowd and we were worried that we'd have to go elsewhere for our dinner. The sushi side of the restaurant only had two diners, so everyone... More

I have dined at Shogun many times over the last several years. The dining experience is always consistent - great food and efficient service. The sushi is delicious - fresh, flavorful, and beautiful. The hibachi is fantastic as well. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

They offer these cream cheese and crab meat rolls that are wonderful. Sushi selections are plentiful. Must try Chicken Katsu with the spicy mayo. Tori is a great server and service is fast.

I disliked the fact the waiter was very sweety at all times, the place is dark, looks dirty and the decoration is definetly not the best. The food is OK but a little expensive.

Kani salad is the best, so good! Also the sushi is amazing. Especially love the Creamy Roll and the Spicy Girl roll. Some of the best sushi I have ever had has been here.
