Don't be put off by the location -- this is one of the best, if not THE best, restaurants in Statesboro. Friendly service, inventive chef (may not be 100% authentic Thai, but very creative fusion dishes) and consistently good food. We have a standing date with another couple at least twice a month and we always return to this restaurant.

Although located in an unassuming strip center across from the University, Coconut serves delicious food in a pleasant, attractive atmosphere. Both the service and the food presentation are well done; eating there is always a pleasant experience.

The strip-mall in which Coconut is set is not promising, but the owners and staff of this restaurant have clearly put in an effort to make it more than an eat-and-run Thai place. It is well-decorated and almost sleek; only the high-end grills in downtown Statesboro compare. The food is good, though not very authentic; the dishes we ordered were... More

The strip plaza is tired. The restaurant is amazing. The surroundings are chic. The food is really, really great. The staff was friendly, kind, and attentive. One of the best kept secrets in Statesboro.

Service was just great - very friendly, knowledgeable about menu. Beautiful presentation of all items. We have basil spring rolls, panang salmon and pineapple chicken - it is sensory delight - visually, aromatically and flavorfully! Loved it! Great ambiance too!

Stopped by on the way from Augusta to Savannah. Located in a bit of a run down strip mall, we didn't expect much as we arrived. Don't be discouraged by its surroundings as you will be pleasantly surprised when you walk in the door. Very nicely appoited inside and you will be met by a very gracious and attentive staff.... Trying to find a good place to eat and decided on something different. Decided on Thai and we were not disappointed. I had the fried rice served in the pineapple and my wife had the red curry pork. The red curry pork was spicy and sweet, just perfect...a new favorite. This is a definite do not miss eatery.

this wonderful restaurant accommodated 18 young women here in Statesboro for the Georgia Southern Ultimate (Frisbee) tournament this weekend and 7 parents at the last minute. The restaurant is beautiful, service attentive and food was excellent. I am a vegetarian and our servier told me that the chef could modify just about any item on the menu to make it... More

We go to Statesboro every year on our way to a Golf outing in Jekyll Island form Atlanta. The owner of the Historic Statesboro Inn recommended this place. Honestly, I never expected to find food this good! We had the special dish of the night.....rib eye on a bed of garlic rice and curry sauce and It was delicious. The... More

Delighted to find a Thai place in Statesboro, only 90 miles from home! Had the panang curry and opted for heat level 2 out of 4. Perfect blend of rich and sweet taste with a little "bite" on the end of each swallow. Suprisingly good decor and service from a storefront place in a college town. Limited beer & wine... More
