Go early in the day if you want to get the best variety of bread; everything is usually sold out by 2-3 in the afternoon. The treats are especially tasty, and there are many "must-haves" during the holidays. Pizza on Thurs and Friday, if they have the sausage, order it for sure. Soup is so good, but you can't go... We've had a variety of sandwiches from here and they have all been good. Bread is delicious and sandwiches are served with chips. I've heard the hamburgers are good also. Baked goods/cookies have also all been tasty.

Everything is delicious in this locally owned bakery. Steve and the staff whip up mouth watering baked goods, hearty breads, and creative indulgences for lunch. Pizza and Burger Nights are a treat! Local dairy, produce, and meats are a staple here. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the limeade. Mmmmmmm.

Yes, it was pretty terrific. We'll be back the next time through Statesboro. This trip was taken by a dozen or so senior motorcyclists from the Hilton Head area looking for another great breakfast joint. We were in no way disappointed. The place was mobbed but we got tables both inside and out. The friendly and amazingly competent staff (given... More

Love this place! The pastries and sandwiches are all to die for. The ham and cheese rolls they make in the mornin will just melt in your mouth, mh tummy is growling right now just thinking about them! The chicken salad sandwich on focaccia is just amazing! Perfect for a light lunch. The lemon bars and bear claws are the... More

I had heard wonderful things about the bakery. The first time I went to the bakery there was just one customer and just one attendant. Was mid morning and i looked in the display and looked to see what would catch my eye. asked the young lady if she had any suggestions and she just shrugged...ok...so probably a busy morning... More

The owners obviously see this restaurant/bakery as much more than just a place to eat. Besides delicious and fresh salads and sandwiches and amazing baked goods and soups, they have special pizza and burger evenings. They also host community events like readings. It's cozy and homey...

Great atmosphere, fantastic baked goods, homemade pizza on Fridays. We come many Saturdays because everyone we know is there! Can't say enough good things!
