Always a Southern Favorite

The buffet lunch price was very reasonable for all the food and desserts that you could eat. We were there just before the lunch serving time was over but we were not served leftovers. They continued to replenish the buffet line with fresh hot food. Everything was delicious!! The best fried green tomatoes I've ever had. We will definitely return... More

17 of us went to the Blue Willow last weekend and every person raved about the food. It was remarkably good food, much better than one would expect from the buffet. Outside of the peach cobbler the deserts were pretty forgettable but the fried green tomatoes and candied yams made up for it. No alcohol service but the sweet tea... More

Been wanting to go there for yrs and finally made it. Very disapointed! Beautiful house and grounds but food was at best mediocre. When I tried to order a coke to drink I was told that they only have "traditional" southern drinks. Tea, coffee, lemonade. Although the lemonade was acctually the best I have ever had, how can Coke not... More

Blue Willow Inn is located a little over an hour's drive from downtown Atlanta. It is well worth the drive if you are seeking a southern dining experience. The service and food were terrific, the ambiance relaxing and informal.

Made a reservation over a month ago for a party of eight on Mother's Day. I call the day before to confirm the reservation and the time. No one knows how to search in the computer by name. They fumble and fart around and finally conclude they screwed up and either can't find it, logged it under the wrong name... More

Always wanted to stop in and finally made it. The house, decor and surrounding grounds are beautiful. The staff very friendly and service terrific. Most of the food was delicious, of course, that's what we were there for. Mt husband and I were there mid week and had fried chicken, meat loaf, roast beef, and fried tilapia. All were very... More

For years I've wanted to go for a meal at the Blue Willow Inn, and it finally happened last Saturday. I was glad we made a reservation despite our plan to meet at 11 AM. The restaurant filled quickly with groups from all over. The buffet was truly Southern, and after two trips plus salad, soups, and several desserts, I... More

For years I had seen the sign on I-20 as I was headed to Atlanta for years . I had always said we should stop one day and FINALLY I met a friend there for lunch. I ate some of the best traditional southern food I've had in many years. It's a traditional old southern house with some of the... More

I had dinner here on a Friday night. It was a very satisfying experience, though it was not inexpensive. The buffet was the only option, and it was $25.95 plus tax and tip. However, it was a high-end buffet, with boiled shrimp in the shell, seafood chowder (stuffed with shrimp and other seafood), and prime rib. Though it was a... More
