We holiday at Lake Oconee twice a Year (snowbirds from NYC). This is such a quaint restaurant, lovely Sunday lunches (Buffet style) and good wholesome Southern cooking. Book ahead as it does book out. Cant wait to come back to the Lake to have lunch here once again. Visit at Christmas as it is beautifully decorated.

We enjoyed a nice early dinner on New Year's eve at this restaurant. The quality of the food had not changed since our last visit. It was Southern cooking at its best and we enjoyed the tremendous selection of items. What appeared to change was pricing which has risen to almost $27.00 per person. When you add tip you are... Amazingly charming place to visit! Beautiful old Southern home charmingly decorated: chandeliers, antiques, etc. Lovely menu of Southern food: meats, side dishes, dessert, all included in the price. Loved it!

For $20 and a 7 mile trip off I 20 east of Atlanta, you can be stuffed and wishing for room for more. Fried chicken is always outstanding but other main dishes are good too. The vegetables are to die for. I saw it on the cover of Gourmet magazine in the '80's and it took me a lot of... More

We ate here on a Sunday while on a group tour trip. There is plenty of parking room behind the home style restaurant. The outside was attractively decorated for Christmas. First, we noticed the variety of items available for dessert, such as pecan pie, peanut butter pie, lemon meringue pie, chocolate frosting layer cake, plus more. Two types of soup... More

We had a family reunion of sorts at this gorgeous property. The buffet was excellent. Variety and very friendly staff. My favorite was the stuffing, not mushy with a flavorful recipe. The rooms make for an intimate dining experience.

Great southern food buffet style. It is a smaller selection of food than you would find at but we found it to be higher quality. The service was excellent as was the greeting. Reservations are highly recommended. They also have homemade deserts and serve coffee post meal.

We eat at Blue Willow perhaps monthly. This was the first time going in the week with an out of town guest who had heard of Blue Willow and was excited to be going. The experience was frankly poor. The selections were way fewer than weekends, the salad hardly seemed fresh and the vegetables were soggy/over-cooked. The dessert selection was... More
