Go for the chopped pork.........service is great

I travel the entire Southeast and eat all over, they are known for their ribs, but my choice would be the chopped pork hands down. I had a platter that had both so I was able to try both. Loved the sauces, the sweet one was really good. Walked in and got the order to go and the guys... read more

I love BBQ and I love this place. The meats are all good but my favorite is the chopped pork followed by the sausage. The chicken is very good as well. The sauces are very good and I like them mixed together. I love the collard greens mac and cheese and the potato salad. The folks there are a family... More

Michael and the catering team was wonderful. We hire Thompson Brother's for our annual company picnic to serve 500 people, and the food was outstanding.

The spare ribs here are OK, but half the time they are underdone. I don't like ribs just falling off the bone, but I don't want to rip the meat off the bone with my teeth. Pulled pork is OK, but you have to use sauce because it is a little dry. The sides are nothing to comment on.

I tried the 2 meat combo tray with macaroni & cheese, baked beans, chopped pork, and beef brisket. The baked beans was the highlight of the meal. Some of the chopped pork was Ok, but it had too much fat and other parts I didn't want to eat in it, the beef brisket was dry. Atmosphere, just a hole in... More

I have tried a number of bbq restaurants in Atlanta and it has been the same experience at just about every establishment. That is, great bbq but lousy sides. Other than the beans, which were fantastic, the same applies for this restaurant. The cole slaw had too much vinegar and the mac-n-cheese was some of the worst I've ever tasted.... More

The meats all are very good. I am very fond of the rib tips. Let's get to the sides which are just as good as the meat. I love the collards and tater salad. I love the slaw and the beans. Oh did I mention the Mac and cheese or the Brunswick stew? It's all great and the folks there... More

I've always been a big fan of Thompson brothers, so i took some family there on Saturday when they came into town. Thompson Brothers didn't let me down, as they impressed with their great flavor, which includes a nice smokey touch, to their chicken, pulled pork, and ribs. I highly recommend purchasing some of their sweet BBQ sauce to take... More

My daughter was home in early October for Fall Break from College and wanted Barbeque. Although I had never been the Thompson Brothers, I found some good reviews online about it. And, they were all correct. The restaurant is located in a shopping center and is small; however, the food was great, the prices were good, and the service was... More

First time eating their BBQ, it was a catered event which sometimes the meat can be a little on the dry side. Not the case with their BBQ, pork was very well flavored, chicken was moist and tender with great smoked flavor. Baked beans and cole slaw were very good too. Everything was perfect, there were over 50 people and... More
