Good food, nice atmosphere

I had the veal marsala which was excellent. The salad, served family style, was very good and the garlic rolls were wonderful. The side to the veal marsala was fettuccine Alfredo. It was fine, but a little dry. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating to our large group. I would... read more

We went to Scalini's for the Eggplant because my daughter is over her due date. To my surprise, as I have never eaten there before, I was very wondering why I had not gone to Scalini's before. The food was very good. The service was very good. The Eggplant was delicious with lots of cheese. It came with salad, garlic... More

We had a large party for lunch, and there were other parties going on as well, but the service was fast and the food was good. Nice atmosphere as well. Price was good for a luncheon party. Worth the trip. Ordinarily open evenings and Sunday brunch.

Enjoyed a plate of mussels and angel hair with marinara sauce. There was no doubt that the sauce had been painstaking prepared over time with the greatest of care. Impressive wine list and the best garlic butter rolls!

all meals in the party were great. Very hot. And reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very quaint. The service was very attentive and the overall experience was well worth going back for.I would recommend it highly over your chain Italian restaurants.

Had a very nice meal here. Good food well cooked and great service in a nice atmosphere. Old fashioned but in a good way. My only criticism is that with meat meals it's only pasta to accompany it no potatos/veg so it's a bit limited.

In town for business and went here on local recommendations. We had resevervations for a large group (35) and I expected this to be an issue. The staff pulled this off almost flawlessly. We were all seated together. Service was friendly, efficent, and very accomodating. The food was very good. Other garlic rolls were great, if a bit heavy on... More

We enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere. It is very quiet and quaint. Entrees come with a salad and garlic rolls. I found the rolls a bit too garlicky as they are covered in actual garlic, not just garlic butter. I had the lasagna and my boyfriend had a plate with veal, chicken, sausage and pasta. We both had desserts,... More

Passing through Marietta, we found Scalini's, a great alternative to a chain restaurant. The garlic rolls are decadently delicious, loaded with roasted garlic and butter, and the pasta dishes are very good, too. We sat in a dark little booth with names of other diners scrawled on the walls, reminiscent of Gino's in Chicago. A couple booths even have curtains... More
