This was my third visit and I must say, for an Italian restaurant, the chef must not know the basic 'cucina povera Italiano' rule of salting the pasta water like ocean water. Bland. Bland. Molto bland. The service is always good. Their cheese cake is nice and light. And my seafood trio in rosatella was good too -- except for... More

We first ate at this restaurant when we first moved to Atlanta 13 years ago and over the years have celebrated several birthdays and even induced the labor of a pregnant friend at Scalini's! The service is always very attentive and the food never disappoints. They happily accommodate food allergies and special requests, and if you love garlic you have... More

From the minute I walked into Scaline's the first time, I knew it was going to be wonderful. The smells were wonderful and I couldn't wait for my salad and food to come. My son loves the Fetticinne, my husband the spaghetti and meatballs, and I absolute adore the Eggplant Parmigiana with angel hair pasta. We always have to end... More

This is an outstanding local restaurant with superb Italian food. The garlic rolls are outstanding along with traditional fare. The atmosphere is great. Prices are reasonable.

Recently, my wife and I had a nice evening dinner with great service. The tossed salad and garlic rolls were a great way to start our meal along with a bottle of red wine. We both ordered our usual orders of Eggplant Parmigiano and Angel hair past with tomato sauce and meatballs. The quality of the food was consistent with... More

All the menu choices are heavy. Would like more of a selection. The "family style" salad is okay, not great. Bread is one of the signature items and is quite good.

My husband and I were in Atlanta on a business trip. Scalini's seated our group of 14 easily. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was really good!!! We love going to local restaurants as opposed to some of the well-known chains. This one did not disappoint. Everything was wonderful!

Local Italian restaurant that is a favorite around Atlanta. Has sister restaurants called Provino's. First time I visited Scalini's I thought they had brought out a bowl of vanilla ice cream with pineapple topping, but no, it was their gorgeous garlic rolls dripping in butter and slivers of garlic. My mouth is watering now just thinking about them! We've never... More

We love supporting local eateries and Scalini's is a great local institution. Never had a bad meal whether we eat in or call ahead for a ToGo order. The garlic rolls are simply sinful and delicious, great salad, and of course lasagna. We like to top it off w spumoni.

Scalini's is still here after all these years and that in itself says something (comfortable, familiar, good value) in Atlanta. All that being said, their cappuccino is better than any from Roma itself.
