We went to Jim N' Nick's once several years ago, and remembered it as fairly decent barbecue. Things have either changed over the past couple of years, or we just hit it on a bad night. The pulled pork was did not even resemble pulled pork. It was more like fatty cubed pork with some sauce on it. I ate... More

If you want some smokey and tender cuts of meat to enjoy, this is a good place for it. Everything is reasonably priced and consistently prepared.

The mashed potatoes were made with a cheese that didn't melt well, the pulled pork was firm and very chewy. Keep in mind im from texas and have had really good bbq. The sauce wasnt good either. Even ny has better bbq.But this was really sub par. My friemd also didnt like her mixed drinks.the only delicious item was the... More

Decent choices for lunch. Salads, BBQ, sandwiches, etc. Service generally good and quick. Place can get crowded at peak lunch time.

Great food, excellent service. I got the lunch burger for $8.50 and it was fantastic. The french fries were fresh and delicious. We were not rushed at all and probably stayed there two hours. My friend said the bbq was very good so I will try that next time. Friendly atmosphere, easy to spot from the road although Mapquest showed... More

It was good. What I would expect from a franchise location. I had the mac and cheese and the collard greens and the beef brisket. It was tender. My friend got the wings. That is what I think I will get next time. I would go back but I probably like some other BBQ places better. Defintely need to try... More

This is my favorite place to eat ribs and I've very picky about my ribs. Also, the corn bread is delicious!

I took my daughter and son in law for a BBQ dinner while my wife was out of town. Jim N Nicks is near my house in Smyrna and I have wanted to visit for several months. The parking lot was full when we arrived indicating a full house. We waited for 10 minutes. There is not much of a... More

Pros: short wait, ample parking, reasonable prices, excellent food Cons: menu configuration (yes, I'm digging) Overall: They have smoked wings as an appetizer that are over the top. If you decide to order them get the sauce on the side. They'll also bring out cheddar cornbread bites to snack on...you'll need a second batch. The lunch menu is decent, but... More

On a visit to Atlanta to see family, we showed up here on a Sunday late morning with seven people. The staff took this in stride. Service was excellent as was the food. We have been here before, but this time seemed better.
