One of the best Filets I have ever had and the fried chicken was amazing!!!! Overall amazing food and service!!!
If you like heavy southern food, I'm sure you would think this place is great. If you are a vegetarian who wants to eat at least moderately healthy, this place isn't for you. I basically ate a plate of lettuce with a bunch of pecans on top. Won't be back!
I ate here with a small group the other night. Service was great with the waiters tag teaming tables seemed like someone was always close by offering more drinks or refills. I had the fried chicken which was beautifully cooked, side of greens and potatoes then backed it up with a lobster mac which had nice chunks of claw meat... More
Excellent variety of choices so meat eaters and veggie lovers all are happy. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Knowledgeable wine stewards. Sunday brunch good, too. Good modern Southern food b
Looking for New road trip spot near Atlanta hit the jackpot here. Just off 75/285. Clean quick knowledgable service and most important imaginative delicious take on Brunch. The smoked beef brisket was outstanding in my Benny and pork sandwich large and tasty. All the food being served around us looked delicious. Will stop in again sometime traveling!
I'll keep this to the point. They lose a trip advisor circle because of awkward service and a dirty rolled silverware; other than that, it was a really exceptional experience. All the food was very tasty, we had fried green tomatoes, crab soup, spicy brisket benedict, grilled trout and a veggie platter. The only negative (as for the food) is... More
Love this place and can't wait to go back! Fried chicken was delish, mashed potatoes and fried okra! Oh yes please! Nana pudding for dessert I guess I gained 10 pounds eating this meal but it was worth every bite..the only thing they need is green beans on the menu please! Other than that don't change a thing!!
I am on a visit from the U.K. to see my son and daughter-in-law. I was keen to try traditional Southern style dishes so they took me to S.C.K. What a great experience. I am a bit of a foodie so am not easy to please! The food was sensational, fried green tomatoes excellent and scallops cooked to perfection. Will... More
First I am glad I went during the recent Cobb restuarant week. I needed a fix of Southern style buttermilk fried chicken. Overall the food was very good, but it was just not worth the price point.
South City is close to my office, but not open for lunch; so I was excited when our friends suggested it for dinner. I don't like bones in my chicken (don't judge me). When I asked our waiter (George) if they could fillet it, he was very polite and said he would check with the chef. To my surprise, they... More
