Great Diner

I recently met a colleague for breakfast and we chose the Sandy Springs Diner. While I have eaten there several times this is my first review. First, it is an authentic diner. I went to a diner expecting "diner food", comfort food basically. The menu was enormous, containing nearly every type of ethnic cuisine except Asian. I ordered the country fried steak, I got a preformed breaded patty that was either deep fried or microwaved with some jarred gravy. The young waitress must have been new to the diner and serving period,... More

Grew up in the northeast and moved to Atlanta over 10 years ago. I had trouble finding a decent diner in East Cobb that served good Corn beef Hash. They have the best hash and in general all of their breakfast items are good. Great French Toast as well. This is the closest to what I was used to living... More

Moving from a diner haven culture in NJ, we tried the Sandy Springs Diner. Very friendly environment, portions of the food we ordered were large and inevitably were taken home with us, chef specials are great, and surprisingly the pricing is very fair.

I've been a few times at the Sandy Springs Diner, last time for brunch on a Saturday. I had the Greek Omelette and it was delicious! The serving was also great - friendly and on time. It's a non pretentious place, but a good choice for the area. I'll definitely eat here again.

I enjoy eating like most people do. You go to a nice restaurant with your family and pick out a meal to enjoy....and then the waitress brings you a chef salad in a massive chip bowl! I couldn't believe the portions😊. The three of us ate and took home two huge doggie containers which we subsequently use to feed ourselves... More

It's like being at home at your very own dinner table. This place has it all, atmosphere, great southern food, wines, and friendly staff. I recommend the catfish!

Found this restaurant by accident and decided to go there for breakfast. As it was our first time the menu is very large and has many options. I had a traditional eggs/ham breakfast and my wife had a Spanish Omelet. Both were big portions done well, and a good value. Service was friendly and the wait for our food was... More

Just moved to this area. Tried this place kinda by accident. We have been there 4 times now. A word of caution, there meals are huge. We normally now share a dinner or breakfast. Always wonderful.the service is not consistent. 2 times good service 2 times no service. Last time the bartender got me a refill on tea because our waitress... More

This little gem is almost always crowded for breakfast which by the way they serve all day long. The sandwiches are big enough to share. Everything is reasonably priced and you automatically get a 15% discount by liking them on their facebook page.
