WOW! First time and it was outstanding. Excellent drinks, creative and inventive appetizers, and solid entrees. Enjoyed a cup of their spicy gumbo and Andouille corn dogs, really good! Fried shrimp was well-prepared and plentiful, a good bargain. Service was solid. We'll be back for more!

Really like the atmosphere of this restaurant...bayou chic. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, decor was charming without being kitschy. We went in the middle of the week and it was crowded with a good mix of locals and tourists. The food is good-cajun offerings which lean toward the spicy side. They have a really nice menu of healthy and... More

This place was recommended by a local and we were very pleased. Charming, not formal, atmosphere with different tables and chairs. Service was very good. Food was great- low country and cajun- delicious shrimp and grits. Tasty sangria. Definitely would go back.

No wonder it wins awards, the Brunswick stew is amazing....so was everything else. The grouper the Crawfish...everything. Definitely going back!

Great ambiance! Started with the homemade Sangria which was wonderful. Had the Blackwater Sundae appetizer which was delicious and left you wanting more. My husband had the quail entree and I ordered a vegetable plate. Everything was just great. Ended the evening with the pecan pie which I joked was better than my mom's (sorry mom). So many things looked... More

I like my food salted, but it tasted as though the chef dumped the whole salt box into some of the menu items: the gumbo, Oregon gold mashed potatoes, and one of the nightly special dishes consisting of green beans, onions, and mushrooms. However, the collards were fine, as was the special cucumber and tomato salad. A filet mignon should... More

This is certainly not haut cuisine, having been featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We were four. We started with a sampling of app's. Be careful with the andouille corn dogs unless you are prepared to share as we did. Four huge spicy sausages in a fried corn meal jacket. The boudin fritters were OK. Shrimp in remoulade sauce... True southern style cooking at it's finest. It can be a bit on the high side but the food is top notch. Had fun there. Enjoy.
