Rock Shrimp and killer battered fries. Been going here for over 35 years. Food is always good and service is relaxed. Tables have holes in the middle to discard your seafood parts. Definitely come early to get a seat unless you don't mind the wait. Fun t-shirts

During the spring and summer, the Crab Trap is the place to go and with a full bar to get a cocktail while you wait for your table it is a great way to pass the time with friends and family. I've been going to the Crab Trap almost as long as it's been open. I don't think we've missed... More

Recommended by a local, this was a real find. Tried things we had never had before, blackened shrimps and battered chips being two. Friendly, efficient service. Not fine dining but a chance to eat really well and sample "local" food.

Restaurant was not that busy-so service was good. What we had to eat was excellent. My wife and I both had the crab, I also had crab bisque. All very, very good. I know soft shells. I had a beer, wife had two glasses of wine, and one key lime pie. bill I think was $70-$80 with tip. Would recommend.

Great seafood and great beer selection make this a fun place for dinner. Enjoy tossing your seafood shells through the hole in the middle of the table. Attentive service

Been eating at the crab trap for 12 years. Always friendly service and good food. Somewhat pricey form what you get though. Fries are battered and are unique.

I absolutely LOVE The Crab Trap! The fried shrimp are amazing and the crab soup is the best you will ever taste! They serve fresh cut hand-made French Fries that make your mouth water. Hand dipped in their secret recipe batter and fried until golden brown, off the chart good! They also have a great Filet Mignon! The restaurant has... More

The shrimp dip is fantastic! And I was delighted the server knew how to accommodate my gluten free diet! The boiled shrimp was cooked to perfection. I am anxious to go back!

We had seafood platters with selections of fish and shellfish. The oysters were great and so were the shrimp. Cold beer.

Been coming here for years and it's a great place to eat. Good food in a unique atmosphere. Our favorite restaurant in the golden isles.
