I love BBQ, but honestly, and despite all my friends loving the place, I thought it was average. Also, the servings for kids are way too much unless you are raising horses - in essence, you end up paying for more than you need.

Great BBQ, nice portion size and selection. Music is entertaining. Staff is very friendly. We've been there with a large party and just a couple and they are always able to accommodate us. Highly recommend this place.

The Swallow is a great place for a meal - come hungry and they won't disappoint. You'll enjoy high quality meat - quite tasty - and good side items (generous portions). I personally recommend chopped pork as a winner. Only trick is that the sauce is not for everyone. I get it. I happen to love the place, but that... More

We enjoyed our meal; I'm not a big bar-b-q fan so I had smoked chicken that was very good. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, had never had them before but my sister said they were very good and she has had them several different places. Everyone else had bar-b-q and they all enjoyed it. I tried the sauces on... More

I think that they have ridden a successful model too long while taking away good stuff, like music and not replacing it.

Quaint place with family feel. The food was all fresh & delicious. Sausage cooked to order which took a bit longer but was outstanding and I wouldn't want it any other way.

This was my first visit. The potato salad was good and the pork was okay. None of the three sauces on the table had much flavor and the Brunswick stew was bland. The service was good. I'm still searching for a good restaurant in the Alpharetta/Roswell area for good barbecue and stew.

We were a large group of 14, but that didn't matter. They gave us enough staff that all of our appetizers and meals were ordered so that we ate together. Fried greet tomatoes....I didn't know I liked them, but I found out I love them! Wings....amazing, mac n' cheese....remarkable, turkey, it just didn't matter what people ordered. And everyone was... As a NC resident we were happy to be in the Atlanta area and get some non-NC BBQ. This place did not disappoint. The ribs, coleslaw, and fries were all spot on. Great prices for the amount of food you get. Really appreciated the ribs not being fatty which you would find at most places. Service was great as well.... More

The atmosphere is great. You feel like you are in an old southern shack. Service was excellent and the food was great. I had the sliced BBQ beef, mac and chees and fried green tomatoes. They also had some local craft beers which were great. Will be back again when in Georgia!
