I have learned that spicy Thai food does not just mean hot. It means flavorful! Cooking with ginger, lemon grass, lime, as well as pepper, equals lots of flavor. It makes American food seem sort of bland. I especially like the Nam Sod at Thai Emerald. Another Thai favorite is Mango sticky rice. It reminds me of peach cobbler.

I have only been here about 3 times - not near my home...went for lunch Monday & actually ordered off the dinner menu. Had shrimp that was described as "lightly breaded" which it wasn't. It had a very think coating of breading on it thus I wasn't entirely happy. Was wanting the "lightly coated" as described. I think the quality... More

Granted we got there late for a take out on Mother's Day but still..... They were not prepared for the MD crunch. We watched folks get up and leave waiting for service. Finally after 45 minutes and asking for the status of the to-go-order, we were told that they thought it had already gone out. Finally the hostess came out... More

This restaurant has become one of my "go to" places when I think about eating out. I have eaten there at least a dozen times, and the food and service have always been great. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny.

The food is almost always very good at Thai Emerald. There is a nice, relaxing atmosphere. It's a little pricey compared to similar restaurants in the metro-area, but not compared to a similar experience in Roswell.

I met a group of friends at Thai Emerald for lunch yesterday. One of the women ordered the cashew chicken and raved about the crispy texture of the chicken and the flavor that makes here "crave" the dish enough to have to make a trip to the restaurant. While others at the table asked for "to go" boxes at the... More

I have dined at Thai Emerald several times in the past few years. The food is consistent and moderately priced. There is a large patio for outdoor dining. The only issue is slow service every time. Plan to wait 20-30 minutes to have your order taken and 45 minutes to get your meal.

Had dinner with family (party of 10) for birthday party; first time a restaurant. Great selection of items. Not well versed Thai cuisine so not familiar with what a "good/extensive selection" would look like... Had sea bass with green curry sauce and my wife had fried duck with the pineapple fried rice. I tasted another dish - chicken coated with... More

Very nice and clean restaurant. Nice staff. A little pricey for lunch. Good thai food. Not as good as I was expecting from all of the other reviews. I have never been able to find another Panang curry that lives up to my favorite from another restaurant. It changed owners and they changed the recipe and since I have been... More

We truly enjoyed a fantastic Thai meal here with friends. Everyone was very pleased with both the their entrees. The heat level was appropriate for how the dishes were ordered and the larb was some of the best we have had in years. The basil rolls while extremely fresh needed a larger shrimp to provide the right balance of flavor.... More
