About 15 years ago, I saw in the Delta Sky Miles magazine an ad for the best Italian restaurants in the US done by the Italian Restaurant Association (I think). Anyway, they recommended Salvatore's (now Amalfie's). It turned out to be only 10 minutes from our house. We are so lucky we found this restaurant. It's a family owned business.... More

I have eaten Italian food at several places around Boston and New Jersey. Recently, my wife and I had dinner at Amalfi. For an appetizer, we had Calamari cooked in a red sauce with peppers, etc. The Calamari was fried to delicate crispness that was perfect. It was easily the best Calamari we had ever tasted. The serving was so... More

My wife and I have eaten at good Italian restaurants in the US and Italy. Been wanting to dine at Amalfi's due to good referrals from friends. Finally got in here on Saturday 6/21 and despite being busy we got right in. Greeted by a very friendly "Anna" and was seated immediately. Excellent wait staff and food was authentic and... More

This family run restaurant is one of those neighborhood places where locals love to come for the great food, great wine and friendly staff. The staff know me and are responsive and knowledgeable. Food is well priced for the quality. A good indication of a great place to eat is that the parking lot is crowded every night. If I... More

I've been to Amalfi numerous times in the last year (3X just last week). This restaurant offers the family-atmosphere and charm that is missing in chain restaurants. The restaurant is completely family-owned and they all treat you as family as well. While the ambience is great, the food is what will ultimately keep you coming back. Whether it's the veal... More

My husband and I love eating here as do our girls. We have enjoyed our meal every time we go. We like that is a family owned restaurant. We always feel welcomed. The only problem can be getting a table on weekends and they don't take reservations.

This restaurant is family owned and all the family including cousins work there. The food is cooked by the mother and is authentic Italian. The service is great and it has a large comfortable bar. This is a place we visit often.

Anytime we are in the Atlanta area, we head to Amalfi for dinner. We go once a year and have never had a bad meal there. The service is always excellent. All their home-made pasta is amazing. If you have to wait for a table, which you probably will, enjoy a drink from Sal at the bar. It's a very... More

An old friend recommend this small hidden restaurant to us and we've been ten times since, and that was 6 month ago. Everyone is gracious and we have never had any bad attitude from anyone, EVER. It is a small place with limited seating but once you've tasted the food you will know why they are ALWAYS on a wait.... More

Went there with a friend for dinner. After waiting about 5 minutes for the hostess which never showed up we went in. After talking to one of the waiters who was pretty rude....we decided to eat on the bar and avoid the 45 minutes wait. As we were taking our coats off, the bar tender asked my friend if we... More
