Working in Rome, GA, I visited Harvest Moon for lunch. Had a veggie plate: sweet potato souffle (good), broccoli bacon salad (good), cheese grits (not great), and fried green tomatoes (okay). Too much salt in the meal and very disappointing.

When in Rome, eat where the Romans do. Great food and atmosphere in the heart of the historic district. Food selection is great and staff is eager to serve. Would recommend.

I really liked this place, huge Varity of breakfast, salads, meats, lots of veggies and desserts. They said it all was fresh and I really believe it, such flavor on the veggies that's all I had. I would go again.

It's true. And I wasn't born yesterday. :) The place was described as a "cafe" (in it's name) and a "diner" (by hotel staff) but it's really neither. It's simply a low-key local favorite dining spot with top notch food. Hidden Gem is an understatement. Fast service- professional, friendly and actually polite! The menu isn't 30 pages long like Cheesecake... More

If you can get past the pesky flies in the semi-enclosed waiting area, then you can treat yourself to a not-the-run-of-the-mill hamburger! My favorite was the "Red-Headed Stranger", 8 oz. Black Angus burger with "Wicked Pimina Cheese", candied Jalapenos, and onion straws on a fabulous bun. A little bit above moderate in price. Interesting decor with a MooCow theme.

Walking into a place that was once a store in the 40's is really cool to me. I just love the old brick walls with a very high ceiling. I felt like an old friend when I bellied up to the bar even though it was my first time there. After sipping on a cold draft beer, I ordered a... More

For what you get for your money it is not a great value but the food and service are very good and the menu is a bit limited in terms of choices.

I've had lunch here a couple of times now, always good, excellent service and family environment. Full service bar, top shelf liquor, good lunch menu, good sandwiches. I think they can retool and expand their menu a bit to provide contemporary choices. Good burger, excellent mac n cheese side and others as well. If the weather is good, nice outside... More

I have had several items from their menu and have not been disappointed. Loved their take on the fried green tomatoes. Crispy Salmon was very good as was the Pecan Crusted Chicken.

This place has a cool atmosphere. My wife and I ate here for our anniversary. I had the Ribeye, which was more than I could eat, but it was delicious! It was topped with some type of house herb butter..also had the Mac and Cheese (very cheesy) and home made mashed potatoes. All very good! My wife had the hamburger.... More
