Cute place. Has a small indoor bar and a good size indoor eating area plus a larger outside area. Food was very good decent portions, a little pricey. Would go back

Located in a marina with a small dining room with an expansive water view. Tasty grilled shrimp and scallops with seasoned fries. Excellent shrimp and grits with cheese (large portion). Popular bar location for the locals but not a rowdy crowd. Will return.

Great views. We arrived by boat and when doing so dock on one of the inside docks closest to the restaurant. The water can be rough on the outside docks. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and substitutions were fine. Even with a large group they were willing to break up the tab and surprisingly got everything right.... More

We stopped at this casual eatery before visiting Fort McAllister. They have inside dining, but we chose to eat on their lovely patio overlooking Fort McAllister Marina. They had many seafood choices such as fried and grilled shrimp and fish, a few Mexican dishes and assorted sandwiches. My husband isn't a big seafood fan so he chose the fried chicken sandwich,... Beautiful location and laid back. Enjoy the outside seating after a day on the water. Food was wonderful and I really enjoy the local fish camps off the beaten path.

We have two yellow labs, Seneca(90lbs) and Daisy (75lbs) and a 15 year old so choosing a good place to eat while on the road was a challenge. We used "BringFido.com" and found this place. It was only 20 minutes down beautiful country roads and located on the marsh leading to the ocean. The waitress was great! The dogs were... More

Thanks for the review!! We actually host a "Yappy Hour" on the 3rd Wednesday each month for all our 4 legged friends on our outside Tiki Hut as a fund raiser for our local Dog Park....If you're ever in the area on a Yappy Hour night stop on by, it's a lot of fun for all. More

We are a military family, stationed at Ft. Stewart so I suppose you could call us locals to an extend. Over the course of the past three tears we've tried countless restaurants in this area including a fair share of seafood places. So far Fish Tales is our #1 spot to go. Food is fresh, cooked to perfection and reasonably... More

The place is on the river, there are many big fishing boats and day trippers docked there. The tables are all painted in (Happy) Caribbean colors, the wait staff is very attentive and helpful. The food is so good it will require another visit. I had the She crab soup....Yum Yum, grilled fish sandwich....another tasty treat. And of coarse the Hush... More

We ate at Fish Tales for lunch after visiting nearby Fort McAllister State Park. The restaurant is located along the river adjacent to a marina. Parking can be found in front of the restaurant as well as across the street. While it looked like there might be indoor seating we sat outside at a table overlooking the marina. A waitress... More
