Good food and location

We always eat here when we stay at Fort McAllister. It is located near the entrance to the park. The food is always good. It can get a little crowded at night - we tend to have lunch there. The fried shrimp are excellent. It is good for kids and our server was very friendly.

This is one of the few places we've found locally that serves fresh seafood with the option to have it grilled or blackened. So nice to have something other than fried seafood. The view was beautiful and the restaurant had a nice causal atmosphere. Great for families with small kids, the bright decor and busy marina outside kept them occupied.... More

Family of 3 ate on a Saturday at 5 to avoid crowd. Good service. Food delivery a little slow for this hour. The "Tiki" area allows smoking which was a downer. The cigar next to us spoiled it for my self and young son.

My nephew was visiting from Illinois and wanted to go to crabshack on Tybee Island. We were running late & couldn't make it to Tybee Island. I found online a review of fish tales and decided to take a chance. It all worked out very well. I am not really big on seafood so I can be very picky about... More

One of my favorite seafood places in town! The fried shrimp and grits is my favorite meal to order. They also make the BEST hush puppies I've ever had. It's hard to compare other seafood to fish tales

In town early for st. Pattys so my family told me about this little seafood place with an amazing view. The place was packed when we arrived and it took a while for a table to open but was well worth it. I had the special, mahi with a cream sauce with crab, and the fresh veggies, mmm...Amazing!!! Everyone loved... More

My sister lives in Richmond Hill and every time I visit I want to eat here. I am in love with their peal and eat shrimp. Yes. I don't know what they cook it in but for peel and eat anything to have good flavor I love it! Their She Crab soup is also great. Service is good and so... More

We had a good meal at the outside seating at this popular waterfront restaurant. The cold shrimp and crab dip was very good, and I enjoyed the fish tacos, and my husband had the fish sandwich, which could be broiled or fried. He chose broiled, and wasn't disappointed. It was a local fish, cannot remember the type, something I had never... More

This was my 4th visit. Fish Tales reminds me of a slightly upscale fish camp. If you enter from the front you walk straight into the bar which is often quite busy and noisy. It's a local's watering hole. The dining "porch" is glass walled and looks a little west of north. The view is about the extent of the... More
