Nice little neigborhood eats

This is co-located at the Ft. McAllister Marina. Beautiful sunsets and storm watching from the resturant area which is actuall a covered deck that sits on the banks of the Ogechee River. Food is very good made in a very small kitchen. Not fine dinning but some people dress to go. Very busy on the... read more

We have just moved to the area and came in with high hopes. It could be they were having an off night. My husband is the non seafood eater in the family so he ordered bbq wings. About ten minutes after we ordered the waitress came back to tell us they were out of bbq sauce - so he ordered... More

Recommended by our Real Estate agent as we were in the area looking at homes. I wanted some seafood. Place is quaint, side of road bar. I ordered the fried seafood sampler plater (not available broiled or grilled) and it was alright. Waitress said the crab cakes were great but mine were actually burnt. Wife ordered a chicken sandwich which... More

This is a local seafood place located on the water near Fort McCallister. We usually get the fish fingers which are very good. My friend had the fish taco and he liked his. It is reasonably priced and the food is good. Would recommend it to a friend,

Had a really nice time at Fish Tales. Sat outside on a huge table overlooking the water. No frills restaurant, but the food is very good. Try the shrimp and grits. Service was very friendly.

This restaurant sits on a marina in the river overlooking the marsh. The view from the site is inspiring. The restaurant has outside seating with a bar, and backs into a bait shop for the marina. The outside provides a view of the marina but is also near the road. We opted for inside, which had a very local feel,... More

Fishtales is an awesome gem hidden away in RH. It's located on the water and the views are amazing. They have a fabulous covered tiki hut/patio that is wonderful to relax in and enjoy good food and good friends. The inside decor is eclectic and has a Jimmy Buffet/ Key West vibe. It's bright and fun. They play excellent music... More

This place has a little of everything you need for a great afternoon or evening out with friends. We live be the easy, relaxed atmosphere of the tiki hut overlooking the water. You can watch the boats while you have some really good seafood. The shrimp and grits are a must. My personal favorite is the crab stew. The tiki... More

If you want great seafood, this is the place to go. The outside dining in the tiki hut provides great scenery of the marina. They have a great variety of food, but I have never ordered anything but seafood from here, and it is always excellent.
