Good food, fun, friendly atmosphere, burnt brownies

The seafood platter we ordered was great - cooked perfectly, not overdone like most places. The food tasted wonderful. The sides left a little to be desired - the corn was awful, and the brownie in the dessert was burnt. They took the dessert off our bill to make up for it.

Drove down for dinner. Decided to try here. Sat at the bar. Took a little while before anyone even came over (the bar was not busy). Once Gabbie finally came over and made it seem like we were interrupting her from talking to other employees. She had an attitude. She didn't say hi or welcome or anything. Just what do... More

I went to Rincon to buy some boots and saw the Island Time sign on our way in...decided to stop in for lunch on our way back to Rt. 95...what a great find. The service was excellent. My friend and I decided to share two orders...the chicken quesadilla and the chicken cheesesteak sub, both were delicious.

At first glance, you may not be impressed with the outside of this place but when you step inside, it's amazing!!! It's spacious and the ambiance is perfect for an "Island" themed bar and grill. Our server was very nice and I highly recommend the chicken wrap!! It's the best I've had thus far and the prices are very reasonable.... More

My second visit to Island Time Bar & Grill for the low country boil. Delicious! Especially with a cold beer. Will definitely come back.

I asked if the Blue Crab Soup was any good and was told it's great and a favorite so I ordered a cup. I also ordered a combo plate with fried oysters and shrimp. It came with two sides and the waitress offered to make the soup one of the sides which was great so I picked steamed veggies for... More

I came in for the first time last night even though I don't live to far away. I have always heard mixed reviews about the place. I came to support a friend playing cornhole. I wish I would have just walked straight outside and never even went to the inside bar. The "bartender" if you can even call her that... More

The end of a long travel day and we were looking for something that wasn't a chain--and we found it. I had the low country boil for $10---1/2 lb peel and eats, potatoes , corn on the cob and sausage. All good and fresh and served hot. My Wife had the 1/2 lb boil with snow crab legs, potatoes, corn... More

Right next to our hotel, people walking back to the hotel stating the food was good, They were of different generations, so I went with a positive attitude and found it to be as good as expected. remember, this is a sports bar, do not look for fine wine, they are selling good food and beer, so go with the...
