I was introduced to Miss. Sophie's at my 1st visit to the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum. The hot bar looked great with beautiful vegetables but due to the heat of the day we opted for the chicken salad sandwiches and chose croissants for the bread. It was delicious and filling. The inside had a cool English pub style that... More

A small but efficient restaurant that enables people to spend more time at the museum. Limited choices to eat, but all good and the portions were just right.

Miss Sophies is located in the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum in Pooler. The food is stick-to-your-ribs-down-home-good cookin'. You can choose from several of the homemade items on the buffet or order off the menu. The prices are good, which leaves enough left over to discover the wonderful history of the Mighty Eighth....well worth the time and gives you a... More

Nice and quaint. Pretty good food for a museum restaurant. I was impressed. We ordered off the menu instead of buffet. I was disappointed that their Hummus Veggie wrap didn't have more Hummus on it (hint ask for extra). Also I had asked for Honey Mustard twice and never got it.

The owner of Miss Sophie's writes a very interesting regular column about food in the local newspaper, so I was interested enough to drive out to the Mighty Eighth Museum just to eat. Upon arrival, we were left to stand around and figure out whether to just take a table, or wait to be greeted. (just sit anywhere) The restaurant... More

I am so sorry your were disappointed with your visit with us. Our buffet, as you can tell by other reviews, is very popular and we do at times sell out of some items. Thank you for the feedback concerning the service. Feedback, good and bad, helps us know what areas we need to work on to make sure every... More

I have been meaning to stop by Miss Sophie's for quite some time but I didn't have the chance until yesterday. The food is delicious! I was craving a chicken salad sandwich (which I ultimately ended up getting) but the food on the hot bar smelled so good it was a tough decision. They brought my sandwich very quickly, but... More

Whether you visit the Mighty 8th Air Force museum or not, you can still eat at this little restaurant inside the museum building. I've eaten here a several times. The food is good as is the service. Keep in mind this is a "limited run" restaurant — it's only open certain hours. Don't expect a five-star experience. But it's worth... More

I definitely wouldn't order the veggie burger again, it was very mushy, and little taste. My companions' food looked OK
