Great Lunch Spot in a Fabulous Museum

Service was fabulous, prices cheap, food excellent, and you cannot beat the venue. What a great afternoon here with great food as well. Do not miss, I would even stop in just for lunch!

This was our 3rd visit to Sophie's in the last 2 months and we highly recommend eating here. The food is wonderful. We order form the menu, but they also have a buffet. For a real treat order the Chippers and grilled pimento cheese sandwich! Please be sure to take the time to tour the museum. You will not be... More

Not bad for a quick lunch after touring the museum. The menu is limited, mainly sandwiches, but worth a shot.

A small eatery inside of the Mighty Eighth museum. The restaurant probably had 50 seats with a pleasant wait staff. All homemade comfort food. A good place to take a break while touring the museum.

On our way back to Florida, we stumbled across The Mighty 8 Air Force Museum when we exited to eat at Cracker Barrel. We saw on TA that Miss Sophie's was at the museum so we changed our dinning plans and headed over. The special today, Pot Roast w/potatoes and carrots served over rice PLUS two sides, biscuit or corn... More

I was introduced to Miss. Sophie's at my 1st visit to the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum. The hot bar looked great with beautiful vegetables but due to the heat of the day we opted for the chicken salad sandwiches and chose croissants for the bread. It was delicious and filling. The inside had a cool English pub style that... More

A small but efficient restaurant that enables people to spend more time at the museum. Limited choices to eat, but all good and the portions were just right.

Miss Sophies is located in the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum in Pooler. The food is stick-to-your-ribs-down-home-good cookin'. You can choose from several of the homemade items on the buffet or order off the menu. The prices are good, which leaves enough left over to discover the wonderful history of the Mighty Eighth....well worth the time and gives you a... More
