Excellent Food

I have been meaning to stop by Miss Sophie's for quite some time but I didn't have the chance until yesterday. The food is delicious! I was craving a chicken salad sandwich (which I ultimately ended up getting) but the food on the hot bar smelled so good it was a tough decision. They brought my... read more

Nice and quaint. Pretty good food for a museum restaurant. I was impressed. We ordered off the menu instead of buffet. I was disappointed that their Hummus Veggie wrap didn't have more Hummus on it (hint ask for extra). Also I had asked for Honey Mustard twice and never got it.

The owner of Miss Sophie's writes a very interesting regular column about food in the local newspaper, so I was interested enough to drive out to the Mighty Eighth Museum just to eat. Upon arrival, we were left to stand around and figure out whether to just take a table, or wait to be greeted. (just sit anywhere) The restaurant... More

During our visit to the museum, we arrived @Sophie's at 12:30 PM. for lunch, we proceeded to the buffet , ordered the 1 entrée with two sides and a drink $ 8.99 husband took one look at the buffet ordered a packaged salad. If they call opening a can of string beans home cooked, I don't know what to say,... More

I am so sorry your were disappointed with your visit with us. Our buffet, as you can tell by other reviews, is very popular and we do at times sell out of some items. Thank you for the feedback concerning the service. Feedback, good and bad, helps us know what areas we need to work on to make sure every... More

Whether you visit the Mighty 8th Air Force museum or not, you can still eat at this little restaurant inside the museum building. I've eaten here a several times. The food is good as is the service. Keep in mind this is a "limited run" restaurant — it's only open certain hours. Don't expect a five-star experience. But it's worth... More

I definitely wouldn't order the veggie burger again, it was very mushy, and little taste. My companions' food looked OK

They catered our nephews wedding. The food was excellent. The staff was also wonderful. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is located inside the 8th Air Force Museum....so it was really surprising how really good the the food tasted. It was southern cooking at its finest. The wait and serving staff really friendly. If you are in the area stop in you do not have to tour the museum to eat here.

I ate here while touring the museum. Pretty good food. The decor of the place is that of an English pub. The price is reasonable, and my waitress could not have done more to ensure that I had a good meal. I would recommend the fish and chips. If you take your receipt from the restaurant to the gift shop,... More
