We recently ate at Crickets after my daughters wedding. There was approx. 38 in attendance. The two ladies that attended us were amazing!! They had a world of patience and worked hard to get the job done. Orders were all correct, didn't have to wait long for food to be served, they were very helpful in all our odd requests.... More

We were staying overnight at the Chipley-Murrah B & B and the owner sent us over here for dinner on Monday, October 13. First, someone forgot to remember this was a holiday as the place was seriously understaffed. We waited quite a while after we were seated for our server. She was doing the best she could but was simply... More

Had dinner there tonight. J ordered the filet and I had the tilapia. Cooked to perfection and tasty. I tried the gumbo and it had the right amount if heat and mix of ingredients. Our server Mary was a delight. Save room for dessert...all home made

We had a great dinner at Crickets. Good Cajun and seafood. Friendly and efficient service. Just a few miles away from Calloway.

Ate dinner at Crickets the other night. Food was great and the desserts are out of site. If you are visiting Pine Mountain, the one place you have to experience is the food at Crickets. Anything from American to New Orleans Cajun. The staff was polite and we did not have a long wait for our food. Prices are average... More

We recently tried this restaurant while visiting Pine Mountain. It was located within walking distance of our Chalet. The employees were very friendly, but the food fell short of its mark. I have had much better étouffée, there was very few crawfish in it, and my husband's jambalaya was dry, with the shrimp over cooked. The gumbo was average. I... More

Our group had high hopes for some good Cajun food but what we got was just ok. We did like the Brabant potatoes. The Jambalya was very dry and the shrimp on the po-boy could have used a little flavor. The crawfish etouffee was probably the best thing we had and it was just average. Not a horrible experience but... More

My son and I decided we would try this restaurant while staying a couple nights at Callaway Gardens Mountain Inn. We were glad we did. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I had the blackened tilapia which was delicious and cooked perfectly. My son had the sampler platter. He said everything was great except for the gumbo. I tasted... More

We had a sampler platter and most of it was very good. The jambalaya was mostly rice but the other sampler dishes were really good particularly the beans and rice. Nearby folks loved the steak and fish dinners.

As someone who was born and raised in New Orleans, I would never reccomend this resteraunt. The onion rings were very good but other than that the food was super disappointing. I will never go back. You can get a much better meal at mcdonalds or the subway just a fee minutes away.
