Ok Buffet

If you get the B&B it's ok...otherwise eat somewhere else. Overcooked potatoes, grits with a tough film, eggs were ok, bacon and sausages greasy. Gravy for biscuits cold. Pricey for the quality you get. Ruby is an excellent waiter....others act like they are doing you a favor.

This is one of the nicest facilities in the area, but it doesn't rival Atlanta restaurants. Wine list has no depth, and menu selections are limited, but we still enjoyed an evening with friends ......it just required scaling back our urban expectations. Beautiful location.

Great food! Great service! Our server was Stephen - "the bearded guy" - who made an enjoyable meal even more pleasant! Our party enjoyed the turkey and dressing meal, the prime rib meal, and the stuffed trout along with a splendid pinot noir - all very tasty! The restaurant is in a gorgeous building on the grounds of Callaway overlooking... More

Definitely the best restaurant on the property but be prepared to pay! Very limited menu which may not appeal to everyone but the location, service and food quality made it an enjoyable evening. Full bar and nice wine selection available.

It was convenient and the food was decent. Plus something everyone could eat and agree on. Service was good.

Food was fabulous - 15 people for dinner and they were reasonably fast - good selection - loved their pay one price and get appetizer, entree and dessert. Chicken was great, Skirt steak was fabulous, love the soup! Would pass on the creme brulee for dessert and go for the apple crumble.

Thank you for your post. Yes, The Gardens Restaurant is a wonderful experience for dinner. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our prix fixe menu that was available during Autumn. Most of the year the menu is more expansive. We hope you are able to visit again. More

When we have visited Callaway Gardens in the past, we were always frustrated because they didn't have a restaurant that had table service - always a buffet. Three visits ago we rediscovered the Gardens restaurant. On our two prior visits, the food was very good and so was the service. However on this visit, the service was friendly, but slow.... More

We all had the trout, exceptionally prepared and presented in elegant southern style. The atmosphere felt like being in a dining room of a fine home with live music being played. An unforgettable creme brûlée topped off the meal.

Callaway Gardens is nice, but sometimes you want to be spoiled a little. Gardens restaurant spoils you with good hospitality, friendly wait staff, good wine list, creative entrees and (this night) a beautiful sunset over the lake. The hangar steak was perfect, crab cakes delicious, and presentation was nice. Prices were fair for the quality of dining experience.
