Good food, great view!

Came for a cocktail during sunset to enjoy the view. Stayed for dinner. Tried the crab bisque and the vegetables risotto. Both were great. The desert (strawberry crumble) was less exciting. Too sweet and not crispy enough. The service was friendly and professional, and view was fabulous. As my... read more

While in the area for a family reunion, we spent a lovely evening dining the the Gardens to celebrate one couple's anniversary. The food and service were both excellent, and the surroundings were very nice. I understand that the building was the site of the clubhouse at one point. We recommend the Gardens for that special meal you want to... More

The Gardens provides some of the finest dining to be had in the area, so we naturally chose it to celebrate my daughter's 26th birthday. We had dinner on a warm stormy Saturday evening, but chose to sit outside to enjoy the gorgeous lake/gardens views. Our hostess, Kelly, suggested a table set back from the railing (in case it rained)... More

Before you read any further, please note that there are several restaurants located in and around the Callaway Gardens property. Many of them are associated with Callaway Gardens, yet are easily confused due to similar names (ex: The Gardens Restaurant at Callaway Gardens vs. The Plant Room or Vineyard Green at Mountain Creek Inn). Many of the poor reviews include... More

Excellant food - salads, entrees, deserts, wine: great every time. Nice view of the lake and when the weather cooperates, eating outside on the back porch is very pleasant. Wait staff always first class.

Located with a beautiful view of the golf course & water. Can choose to sit outside on the patio or inside. For the hot months, best to sit inside as the patio becomes incredibly hot when the sun is setting. Very nice staff, food was mediocre. One of the two nicest restaurants in Pine Mountain, but not worth going back... More

Porch, pre-dinner, had a lovely view and the meal we had was delicious. Fried Green Tomatoes were excellent.

This was our first visit to the Gardens. We were told by friends to go to this restaurant and we were not disspointed. Dinner was outstanding but worth every dollar. Will go back again when we visit Calloway.

This is very pricey but worth it. It is a perfect place for a nice romantic meal or, as was the case for us, a business dinner. An extensive wine list is available. I highly recommend the fried green tomato appetizer that has fresh mozzarella cheese, pesto, and balsamic vinegar, baby spinach, and salt cured bacon/ham. I should have stopped... More

This is actually a better than average restaurant. It is primarily a dinner restaurant. We went for lunch. Every one of the entress was a sandwich with some sort of bread that was served with potato chips. The only other entrée was a pasta dish. Even the house salad had croutons. There were not any entrée size salads. The food... More

Thank you for your post. The Gardens Restaurant is a wonderful dinner location. And, we suggest whenever you are dining in Callaway Gardens restaurant, to ask about special diet needs.
